Madame Squee Posted March 19, 2021 Posted March 19, 2021 Thank you for the thread VG. 💐 I'm in with the New Palladini Tarot.
Amberjune Posted March 19, 2021 Posted March 19, 2021 I will be using the Dark Days Tarot and the Whispers of the Ocean Oracle. Wishing you all a blessed week.
Madame Squee Posted March 19, 2021 Posted March 19, 2021 @VGimlet May I add the Aquarian Tarot to my New Palladini choice this week? I'd like to carry on with these two for a couple of weeks at least.
Queen of Nothing Posted March 20, 2021 Posted March 20, 2021 I'm going to work with the Ostara tarot this week, because well... Ostara 😄

And if I switched I'd have to go find one of my older decks to use for a while. Plus I didn't get quite enough time with it.
Bodhiseed Posted March 20, 2021 Posted March 20, 2021 I'm in with the Herbcrafter’s Tarot paired with the Green Wheel Oracle. Thanks VG! (Waves hello to all the DoWers 👋💚)
Mi-Shell Posted March 20, 2021 Posted March 20, 2021 I will continue with my project from last week -Cards of Life Happy Spring Equinox everyone!♥
Page of Ghosts Posted March 20, 2021 Posted March 20, 2021 It's been ages since I participated in these threads, but you can sign me up with the Tarot of Vampyres. I've been using the app version for daily draws for the last week and it's been really good. I might as well make it official 😊
vulprix Posted March 20, 2021 Posted March 20, 2021 Hi everyone! Joie de Vivre Tarot for me this week 🙂
Emilija Posted March 20, 2021 Posted March 20, 2021 (edited) Tarot: Ostara Tarot Oracle: Land Sky Oracle Thanks! Edited March 20, 2021 by Emilija
Bodhiseed Posted March 21, 2021 Posted March 21, 2021 (edited) This week I'll be using the Herbcrafter's Tarot, created through the combined efforts of Joanna Powell Colbert and Latisha Guthrie. The set is published by U.S. Games. Paired with it will be the Green Wheel Oracle, created and self-published by Danielle Barlow. Today's draws are the Five of Water (Cups) and the Hearth Moon: ...a man’s suffering is similar to the behavior of gas. If a certain quantity of gas is pumped into an empty chamber, it will fill the chamber completely and evenly, no matter how big the chamber. Thus suffering completely fills the human soul and conscious mind, no matter whether the suffering is great or little. —Viktor Frankl When humans experience a loss that results in suffering, we tend to handle it in several ways. We may build a mental monument to it, allowing it to become our self-identity. Others try to control it - making plans for revenge or attempting to ignore it through distracting or numbing behavior. All of these methods are typical, but not necessarily helpful in the long run. The Five of Water shows the herb Goldenseal, whose roots imply that our healing is buried within ourselves rather than something external. When we begin to relate to our pain with compassion, rather than self-pity, anger or suppression, we brew a tea to heal our heart and mind. The Hearth Moon suggests preparation, such as a cozy fire and a laden pantry, in the midst of winter. What can prepare us for deep emotional pain? While nothing can keep it from us, accepting impermanence as a natural part of life can be a start in being able to handle it better. Sometimes when I’m asked to describe the Buddhist teachings, I say this: Everything is connected; nothing lasts; you are not alone. This is really just a restatement of the traditional Three Marks of Existence: non-self, impermanence, and suffering. —Lewis Richmond Edited March 21, 2021 by Bodhiseed
Madame Squee Posted March 21, 2021 Posted March 21, 2021 @Bodhiseed Fabulous reading! Despite knowing better, I always tend to forget nothing lasts. The idea of treating my pain with compassion as opposed to other avenues is something I actually tried recently, and it worked. The Hearth Moon suggestion is really great. Thank you!
Page of Ghosts Posted March 21, 2021 Posted March 21, 2021 Yesterday and today's cards. I don't have much to say about yesterday other than it wasn't the best day and I really needed an afternoon nap, without the stake in my heart 😉 Today has been better, I've done some neglected chores around the flat and I found the strength to bake a pie tonight. Sometimes I take today's card as an energy to make use of, so I want to get around to some drawing or writing before I get too tired. I really want a new avatar for this forum after all these years. My energy is very up and down these days, so usually my daily draws either remind me to make use of my strength or they reflect back how defeated I sometimes feel. Before I started using this app last weekend I pigeonholed this deck as being just about pretty pictures of attractive vampires, which was why I got the app instead of a physical deck, but it has surprised me a lot with its accuracy and relevance and is one of my favourites in my collection right now 😄
Madame Squee Posted March 21, 2021 Posted March 21, 2021 (edited) New Palladini Tarot... This morning, my card is the Ace of Swords. On my mind today (and for the last several months) are plans to replace the huge furniture in the living/dining area. The message I'm getting from this Ace is to carry on with conviction -- don't hold back -- you will succeed -- move forward.* Starry nights predominate the New Palladini minors, many of them also filled with fantastic cloud formations. In the Ace of Spades, I see a headless cloud torso, left arm upraised, crown placed where the top of the head might have been. *ETA: Thinking about it now, I'm getting: "Put your mind to it..." , which really makes sense. If I can focus, I can get things done. I think I'll try a bigger spread... Edited March 21, 2021 by Madame Squee ETA
