First, check your image file. It must be at most 1 MB. In a post you can post a total of at most 1 MB of images, so if you have 3 images that are 300 KB each you can attach all of then in a post.

Second, your image files must be either gif, jpg, or png.

Third, when you confirm all of the above, click on the Reply button of this thread.

Fourth, in the text box where you type your replies, you can see the text "Attachments and other options. Click it."

Fifth, you can see a Choose file button beneath the said text. Click it, then choose one image file that you wish to attach.

Sixth, if you want to add more images in the post and the total won't exceed 1 MB, click on the "more attachments" link under the Choose file button. It will add another Choose file button underneath the first one. Repeat the fifth action detailed above. You can do this again as long as the cumulative size of the images won't excees 1 MB.

Seventh, once you're finished, click the Post button to upload everything.

I hope that helped, MoonGypsy. :)

EK, wow, thanks my friend! i only just saw that you had typed out all this in depth info for me! i really appreciate the time you took to do that! So sorry i didn't notice it until now. i will try and test it some time today. xoxox

How is everyone getting on with Poppy Palin's deck?  Would love to talk about it.  l may be a pensioner but l am not 'old school' in my tarot preferences  ;D

This is a deck created in a very modern way, its up-to-date, colourful and the energies practically explode.  It would not be a deck for the tarot snobs of this world granted.  But it is so full of life and extremely readable.

The cards are large but l got my trusty cutter and corner out to play, then it became manageable for me.

l have always used my Roots of Asia for professional readings but l will be using this tarot as well.  From the start it fired my intuition into the stratosphere,  and my practice readings with it have been so accurate it took my breathe away.

My daughter took one look, fell in love with it, and off she went home with said deck in bag :)

Now my second one is on the way, there could even be a third as l feel the second one will get so used and worn out  :))

Hi Thoughtful!  I hope you are enjoying the forum.  ^-^  I'm going to keep your topic in tact.  We do have another thread about this deck found here:

https://www.thetarotforum.com/tarot-decks/everyday-enchantment-tarot/

It was started a few months back.  With the deck being out for awhile now I figure we can start a new conversation about it. ;)

I really hesitated on this deck because of the faces.  The linework on the faces didn't appeal to me BUT the rest of the artwork was lovely!  I weighed the faces against the rest of what the deck had to offer and did get it.  I use it often, I really love the deck and am happy to have it and use it!  It is similar to the Book of Shadows which I used to use all the time: Vol 2.

Thank you SC l did not find that thread.  Will go over and have a read.  Like you l found the faces a bit funny at first but used to them now.

And yes l am enjoying the forum very much  :)

Is it possible to put this over to the thread you mention so l do not repeat myself?

Thank you!  l have now arrived in the right place to discuss the deck  <3

It seems like everyone has either dropped using this deck or become involved with newer creations  :(

l wanted to discuss the 5 Coins which l know has upset some folk elsewhere.  They do not like it due to a woman gleefully winning money while others are outside looking in at her.

Have my own feelings about this card which l intuitively feel is not as it at first appears.

Are there cards you have some difficulty with that has put you off the deck and why.

Hi Thoughtful. :)

I just received the Everyday Enchantment Tarot last week, and I love it!

I've asked Little Fang to set up a study group for it, and I will post a link to it here as soon as it's up.

We definitely can open the group with a discussion of Poppy Palin's image of the 5 of Coins. It's unusual, that's for sure.

Hello Squee l remember you from AT, that rhymes not intentional  ;D

So pleased that you love this tarot as much as me.  It brings tarot reading into the 21st century, it positively shines out with meaning.  My daughter who has never read the tarot  (she gets her readings from me!) took to it like a duck to water.  We went through each card after which she gave amazing 3 card readings for me, her boyfriend and my other half. Her intuition had kicked in big time and she saw things l had not noticed.

As l mentioned this tarot duly went home with her.  But l now have my second one, which l spent time with trimming and cornering again  ;)

Thank you so much Squee for asking for a group discussion, l hope this comes about there is so much to study, enjoy and discuss  <3

Hey Thoughtful! I'm so glad your memory is working better than mine! It's wonderful to see you again! <3

My first reading with the Everyday Enchantment Tarot was for my daughter. We absolutely loved how beautifully the cards answered her question. She recognized the message immediately, and the situation has already resolved in accordance with her interpretation. She has never read for me before, but I'm going to ask her next time.

Have you read the book? I've been mostly staying away from it until I've had more time with the images. Plus, I'm enjoying the cards so much, I don't feel the urge to open the book.

You are right, there's a lot to talk about. This is going to fun!

Well it is an amazing deck that's for sure.  And yes l dived into the book immediately, very interesting, and in my opinion well written and understandable.  Since then l have not needed the book the deck speaks loudly enough.

Out of interest l do a card for the day and a card in the evening for meditation.  l was being plagued by the 7 Wands for days. Each time l thought it must mean this or that it still came out. In the end l asked a psychic friend why it kept coming out, she does not read the tarot at all.  She looked at the card and said "there is an unresolved issue deep within you. You did not have the courage to speak out and you were controlled, your voice was not heard.

Immediately it was clear to me. My first  husband used mental abuse  and control over me. l was too frightened to speak up. When my spiritual gifts came to the fore, he said l was hallucinating and needed to see a psychiatrist.  When our daughter was 11 years and he started on her, enough was enough l obtained a divorce. This is going years back and l had no idea l had not dealt with it having since remarried happily.

l did a clearing and forgiveness prayer.  Later that evening l pulled a card for meditation and got the 5 Cups. As you know it depicts a graveyard scene. l heard that my ex had passed over 2 years ago. Won't go into what l saw in the card would  take too long. But must mention the happy spirit man (my ex) who can now feel the forgiveness.

As you say Squee it will be fun even if it is only us  :))

Edit to add:  l don't do reversals but it looks like my friend had seen it as that.

Wow! Thoughtful, I think we have something major in common -- I went through a very similar marriage almost 40 years ago. I finally terminated it when I realized he was devastating my sense of self worth and that he was doing the same thing to my daughter (she was only 4). Getting away from him was a nightmare, though. I literally had to change jobs and move. About a year after the divorce, he found someone else to fixate on. And then he disappeared.

I love that your psychic friend divined the message you needed out of the 7 of Wands. And I love how you used it to bring about healing. The 5 of Cups in this deck feels perfect to me -- it captures the grief of having to come to grips with a situation as it is and having to let go of the hope for what could have been.

The 7 of Wands is one of the cards I like to look for in a prospective deck (the 8 of Cups, the Moon and Temperance are the others). When I saw the 7 of Wands in the Everyday Enchantment, I immediately thought of the 7 of Koshes in the Buckland Romani Tarot. (Attaching a pic.)

Also, I trimmed the titles off the pictured BRT deck and rounded the bottom corners. That job was a piece of cake. However, even though EET is way too large for me to shuffle, and I don't especially care for multi-colored borders, I'm still deciding whether or not to trim it. I just feel a little sad about losing some of the image and symmetry in the beautiful backs. The BRT back isn't quite as wonderful, and I didn't fret over it too much. Did you use scissors?

Even though we are an ocean apart we have a common bond, that's so lovely <3  It can be so traumatic to have someone who treats us like that though.

Since l did my forgiveness prayer that 7 Wands has not haunted me at all. l was very grateful to my friend for her assistance as l know the card would still be turning up. It just goes to show how much we can hold within ourselves and not be aware. It was over forty years ago for me too.

Love your interpretation of the 5 Cups its perfect. Did you notice the spirit man peeking at her in the background with a huge smile on his face. Confirmation that he had heard and obviously needed to be released and forgiven.

l don't use scissors Squee for trimming my decks, can't cut a straight line to save my life  :))  l bought and use a sliding cutter and a 5m rounder.  The backs are fine apart from a very small loss at the top, its the tip of the butterfly.  Hardly noticeable.  It would have been perfect but l left the keywords at the bottom, otherwise it would be equal all round.  l don't really notice it but then if l used reversals it might be a little problem.

l am sadly not a techie or else l would show you the card. l will have to sweet talk my hubby into showing me how to do it.  Thanks for showing the B.R. card l see what you mean.

Yay!!! Thank you, Saturn Celeste! <3

ETA: I opened a new topic for the Five of Coins. Unfortunately, I have to leave my computer for awhile today, but I hope Thoughtful[/member] and everyone else interested in it will dive into it!

This is one of my very favourite decks of all time, and is now freely available via Amazon, eBay, etc, and not too terribly expensive.  The guide book which Poppy wrote is excellent as well.

I use this deck a lot, DESPITE the fact that the card stock is ...well ...awful.  The cards are large, clunky, thick 'cardboard.' Riffle shuffling is impossible.  What's even worse, they tend to cling to each other.  I've used magician's dust on them, trimmed the borders, etc.  None of these solutions are ideal. But the images are so wonderfully down-to-earth and up-to-date, I can't stop using it.  If you are an intuitive reader, you will LOVE this deck.

My wish is that the deck gets re-issued soon, in a smaller, thinner format for the cards themselves. I would buy it again in a twinkle, no matter what the price.
