The Jodo factor also adds a quasi-psychoanalysis angle to proceedings. Well. There you go. 🙂 1 hour ago, devin said: Whatever, I get you point, some of the tricks employed by the art-practice crowd might not translate to sitting at your kitchen table trying to figure a reading on an ex. Or a client's ex. Or their job, their coworker, their kid, their court case, their pet, their crush, their health, their project... And so ad infinitum. I've heard those questions countless times. But I've yet to have someone say "It would be really cool if you threw the cards on the floor and..." 😉

You run the risk of beeing labeled as an inexperienced Heretic crawling on the floor throwing cards through the room when dealing with actual questions - do not mention that you are fit enough to pick 'em up without the need to crawl, also. You'll get grilled. It is hilarious! Um - there's no reason at all not to do that; see under that hurled Greenwood. As for crawling - I am fit enough but there was a memorable occasion not long ago when it took me almost half an hour to get the 9 pents that had taken off in a big way (slippy as hell that deck; I have pointed this out to its creator !)

Implying that I'm not capable of bending over and picking up a card is not advisable. It's false and also ableist, because there are people in this world who really can't. Additionally, if you have issues with anything I've said ITT, whether I was serious or in jest, you need to address the point directly rather than telling another member "you certainly better don't."
