This thread is for those who would like to work through their collection of decks.  Each week we will be picking a deck (or decks) to work with for the week.

 

All are welcome. Please join us!      The only rules we have are the Tarot Tea & Me rules; be respectful to each other.    

 

You can drop in and out anytime,   time and real life permitting.   New to tarot?  Long time reader?   Come on in.  

 

1. Please post with your chosen deck for the week. 

 

2. Chat away about your deck, how you're finding it etc., or not - it's all up to you.

My random number generator came up with a weird combo, but I'm giving it a go.

I'll be using the Book of Kaos Tarot and the Lightworker Oracle.

Wishing everyone a wonderful week. I'll be up in the moutains for the weekend and really looking forward to it.

Sounds like Temperance intervened on the random number generator. 😂 Might produce some interesting readings! The mountains sound like a lovely place to spend the weekend.

Hi all!  I'm going to go with my Tinkers Damn tarot this week.  I really haven't played with it since I got it earlier this year.

This week I'll be using the Spirit Within Tarot, created by Steven Bright and published by Schiffer. I'll also be drawing from the Answer Deck, created by Nicky Zann and published by Running Press. Today's draws are the Two of Swords and Journey:

The blindfold on this young man as well as the Journey card suggests that he'll have to travel an inner path to get out of his current place of stagnation. It's tempting to go around asking others for their opinions, but that would likely leave him entangled in a thicket of views. A mindfulness meditation might help calm himself before looking at the facts. He could ask himself if one choice is meant to people-please, which will never satisfy him or anyone else. He might learn the difference between being led by his emotions (which can make him believe things that aren't true) and trusting his intuition (a visceral feeling without the thoughts attached). He could stop focusing on past failures and projecting them onto the future, instead viewing the present opportunities realistically. And lastly, he might ask himself what would give him meaning and fulfillment in his life. Yeah, it's never that simple, but it's a place to start.

 I post the thread for the coming week on Thursday (sometimes Friday) in case I have a busy weekend.   😛      But you can switch whenever you want - nothing is set in concrete here - we don't have any rules as to when you start and stop, because everyone might have different needs, or not like the deckthey decided to use or....you know.    I try to keep up with the changes.  

 

 I don't check the thread as often during my work week (Tuesday-Saturday right now) so you might not see the list at the top of the thread updated for a day or so.    But no worries!!!!!
