Today the postman bought me my Tarot of Prague - it's the standard edition with cold stamping together with companion book. It is so beautiful! The cold stamping is a lovely feature and now I can't wait to see how the latest VR will look.

I have one of the first editions. It's a lovely deck.

 

I just received something from the postman myself, but haven't opened it, yet, so I know how you feel. :D

The postman just brought me a really fun vintage Tarock deck from Piatnik. I hardly paid any money for it so I think its a great find, even though I'll probably never use it for actual readings (I bought it for study, and it makes a nice addition to my small collection of miscellaneous vintage decks). I did some googling and found out that this deck dates from the late 1920s to early 1930s. It has gilded edges and very nice sturdy cardstock. Me like!

I'm super stoked for it! Fairies sound a little intense to me but I hope we can all get along without too much trouble :))

 

Finally got around to ordering The Circo Tarot from Little Red Tarot, which I saw a while back and thought was gone forever. Really looking forward to this deck! Also I must say I'm doing well with not going overboard with the deck aquisition so far into 2018 - got the Paulina in January and as I vowed I'm buying more indie decks (Circo) and decks from local shops (Paulina) instead of just the big international ones.

It seems I might have been blessed by the post gods since I believe I'll have my oracle tomorrow! Very exciting! The Circo should be going out later this week or early next week according to Beth ;D

I'm excited about both. I really am. So different from each other. Now, I'm going to think about my next Tarot acquisition. There's this oracle, though, that I'm attracted to: Earth Wisdom Oracle.

I do not know it, but I want it!!!!!! I have Earth Magic which is really nice.  I used it quite a bit this weekend on myself, but that Earth Magic deck looks AMAZING!  Might have to pick that up for myself for my b-day next month.

I don't think I'll be able to resist. The size is quite good, too, I believe. Maybe 3 3/4" - 4" x 4 3/4" - 5? Wasn't quite able to get the exact size of the cards. They look lovely.

This was an unexpected surprise. I just received The Wild Wood Tarot I forgot I ordered.

 

As I opened the box, I felt such energy. I'll have to have a conversation with my Wild Wood, but I'm beginning to feel towards it like I do towards my Druidcraft that I love. Really like these Celtic cards. I find The Seer, The Archer, The Pole Star and even the Six of Arrows striking.

As I opened the box, I felt such energy. I'll have to have a conversation with my Wild Wood, but I'm beginning to feel towards it like I do towards my Druidcraft that I love. Really like these Celtic cards. I find The Seer, The Archer, The Pole Star and even the Six of Arrows striking.

I have really tried to like that deck, I mean really tried but I cannot seem to connect with it.  I thought about maybe trying it for one of my months this year, but I seriously doubt I will in the end.  Maybe it has just been a matter of timing. I have been known to have decks sit for years and one day they call to me and we get along just fine after that.  I am hoping this will one day happen with the Wild Wood.

Hobyah has the questionable honour of being my least favourite and The Fee Lion is my favourite, followed closely by the Gloominous Doom (I really like this character even if the name is a bit.. omnious!)

I will as soon as I work a bit more with it! I had to check the book for his name as I wasn't sure if it was Gloominous Loom or Doom so I saw a few keywords I wasn't supposed to heh.

 

I'm dabbling in Lenormand but I don't have a book yet so I hope yours show up soon and that it's a good one!
