i have just received my gorgeous Green Wheel Oracle  by Danielle Barlow.

It is a self published deck from the UK, which i purchased on Etsy. It is a little pricey [as indy decks can be] but i am so glad i went for it. It has a really interesting linen cardstock that has a lot of texture to it. It reminds me a bit of the Deirdre of the Sorrows tarot cardstock. [for those of you who are familiar with that yummy cardstock] the cards are a nice big size, and it comes with a nice muslin bag and a lidded box.

Here is a nice Youtube review and flip through:

I have been remiss in not mentioning, I received a very sweet little deck called the Celtic Oracle by Gerry Thompson. It was so inexpensive on eBay that I couldn't pass it up.

I also could not resist purchasing a copy of the Warwick Oracle, discussed in this thread. It was a bit of an impulse buy, since the creator had very few left when I ordered it. She actually has done another printing since there was so much demand for it...so still available if anyone is interested! I'm expecting that one to arrive sometime this week from Canada.

Ok, we're halfway through March and I've only bought 2 decks this year...not TOO terrible...

You're doing better than me, for sure! I've bought 3 new decks so far with nothing new on the way at the moment. I was thinking about buying something today but I'm kind of in a tarot-slump. Not as excited about tarot as I usually am, but not too tired of it either so I think I'll be able to keep up with my journal. Thought it was probably a better idea to remove the decks in my cart and just get the books I wanted which I was actually pretty pumped for. I mostly felt like I "should" get something just because I had the money to do so, if that makes sense? I don't think that would cure my slump and I want to spend more time with my other new decks since I've mostly been hanging out with the Faeries Oracle  ^-^

I totally understand that. And I should say, I still have 2 decks pre-ordered that I backed on Kickstarter last year coming later this year- so from that perspective you are doing better than me!  ^-^ One is the Marigold Tarot, which was originally expected to ship in February but now won't be shipping until May. And the other is the Goddess Blessings Oracle, which should be shipping in the summer.

Oops, I forgot that I bought this deck this year too  :o So Page of Ghosts[/member] you are DEFINITELY doing better than me!!

I do love it as well, MoonGypsy! Again with our similar taste in decks!!  ;D

I recieved the 3rd edition of the ExtraOrdinary Oracle last weekend. It suprised me how thin and fragile the cardstock feels. I think it’s on watercolor/mixed media paper, which has an interesting texture but makes me scare that it’ll rip or fall apart with use. The art and messages are lovely otherwise, still have yet to read with it.

You will love the Whispers of Lord Ganesha. I have this oracle on a stand and every time I walk by, I see Lord Ganesha and what he has shown me of himself for day beaming out at me.

I know how you feel about that, Page.

I'm itching for the Shakespeare Tarot. *sigh*

Waiting for an early printing of the Lo Scarabeo Visconti Tarots, the one with the two-headed devil and the tower that looks more like a wall.

I just ordered the Ghost Tarot by Davide Corsi, he also did the art for Viceversa. It looks intriguing, does anyone have it?

I also have this deck, cosita, and with all that gold this one is absolutely gorgeous.

Nope, I only have the regular-sized deck.

The postman didn’t bring it, my son took me to Barnes & Noble today & I got The Illuminati Tarot. It’s lovely! Tomorrow the postman is bringing the Ghost tarot by Davide Corsi. I like Ghosts & Spirits by Lisa Hunt so I’m sure I’ll like this one too. First time I’d been in a ‘real’ bookstore in years! I can spend hours there, & the library.

I have it, too, Canid, and it's beautiful. Reminds me that I should bring it out. I could live at the library and bookstore. Know exactly how you feel. [emoji4]

I just decided to check the old Ethereal Visions kickstarter and found out that they're finally being shipped! I haven't received an email yet, but I'm sure I'll get one soon. It's technically the 2nd deck I ever purchased, and soon it will be in my hands!

Do you have Tarot Illuminati, Keys of Secret Societies, or The Illuminati Tarot that’s really colorful & busy? And just to further muddy the waters, there’s also an IlluminatED Tarot.

LOLOLOL I love mine, too. Have had it for years. Treasure it so much that I don't even read with it. Where did you manage to find it. Isn't it OOP?

I bought it in a Facebook sale group. Now I just have one kidney left.  ::)

There's also two versions of the Illuminated Tarot - the one by Caitlin Keegan that has 53 cards and the other by Carol Herzer. The latter also gas different flavors, like the Original, Starlight, Deep Crystal, Dream Shadow, etc

When I saw the first edition of the Universal Mind Oracle that I've had my eye on is about to be discontinued, and the new edition will be more expensive...well, of course I ordered it! So I'm not doing great at not acquiring lots of new decks this year...I am excited about this one though, and I'm saving money by buying it now while it's less expensive, right?  O:-)

Here is a post where I talked about the edition change and links to purchase each one, in case you're interested! The less expensive first edition is only available for 3 more days, so hurry if you want to order that one!

Caving in. Ordering Chris Leech's Shakespeare Tarot and also his Golden Age of Hollywood that I just discovered this morning.

I've just been in touch with Chris and he is working on this new Dickensian deck which, apparently will be available in June. He is also working on a silent film deck which should come out later in the year.

The cards, I believe, will be 3.5" x 5.75".
