How is that deck?

Am in the process of ordering Giordano Berti's Sola Busca from Italy

Also just ordered two very different decks, Mary El and a new deck called Luna Sol. The former is intense and deep, the latter sunny and open  :)

Thank you Saturn Celeste[/member]  :)

I've been in contact with him by email and am just getting payment details

Just for information for anyone thinking of buying, the price will go up in January 2019.

I'll add something to his thread later on.

Literally a whole year after the original intended shipping date, I finally have the Tarot of the Lucid Slumber coming my way. This is by far the most fraught kickstarter deck I've backed, but I'm so happy to be getting it soon.

A new book, The Esoteric Tarot by Ronald Decker just came. Looks to be a great read.

And I’m waiting on Sylvie Steinbach’s new book The Secrets of the Belline Oracle. I have the deck, but the only English resource so far has been the LWB, which is fairly skimpy. Hope the book is good!

Yesterday I got "Ludy Lescot Tarot" and today "Eight Coins' Tattoo Tarot", so I'm happy  ^-^

The "Rider-Waite Tarot Deck" that I ordered to my daughter on October the 17th also arrived today. A little bit late..., but fortunately I needed to complain to BookDepository only once  ::)

Beautiful, Emilija!!! [emoji4]

I received the Brady Tarot for Christmas. I am totally stunned, the deck is so intense, the whole package (it comes in a bamboo box) is perfect. The booklet is written by Rachel Pollack, it is small but excellent. I think this is my top deck of 2018.

Hi Emilija!

I have just been too busy this holiday to do more than go thru The Steampunk Tarot a few times and flip thru the book.  I'm looking forward to it though.

Congrats on the Baroque Bohemian Gold.  What a coup!

I just backed the Duck Soup Kickstarter. It is shipped in June.  There's a great new deck.  Check it out. :)

Happy New Year!  My New Year's Day extravaganza was the ordering of four new decks.  I chose judiciously and got a grand amount of bang for my buck(s).

1) Everyday Enchantment - this one's been on my wish list for a while and it was calling plaintively to me.

2) Nicoletta Ceccoli - if you had told me a month ago I would ever in a million years buy this deck I would have scoffed in disbelief.  It's a polarizing deck and I came down firmly on the side of "creepy little dolls with discomfiting sexual overtones".  But Night Shade[/member] and Krystalida[/member] have been working with it and I took a closer look.  It turns out I love these cards!

3) Pam's Vintage - RWS imagery is important to me but I find the coloring on most decks too cartoonish and/or bright.  This deck soothes my eyes as well as my spirit.

4) Maria Celia - it's beyond sweet, and I'm a sucker for anything in a cute little container all its own.

As the book, movie and remade movie tell us, The Postman Always Rings Twice.  He will ring four times for me soon!

And on that note I am off to watch the 1946 original on Netflix, followed by the 1981 version, - I love them both - after which I will re read the book!

I was buying art supplies on Amazon today and they "recommended" I buy the Ostara deck, which I've had my eyes on since the start but wasn't sure about for various reasons.

On a pure whim I said "yep, ok" and added it to my cart. Compared with the art supplies, it was like a free gift. Should be here in a few days.

Side note: there's a reason artists are poor. Art stuff is so expensive.

I got this beautiful deck a week or so ago! I love looking at it, and hope to study it more this year.

And today, Robert Place’s reconstruction of the Marziano deck arrived. A very unusual deck, with 16 trumps (of Greek gods/goddesses) and 4 suits of different birds (doves, turtledoves, eagles and phoenixes) with a Queen and a King. Need to do some research on this one, the lwb is pretty sparse. But I love Place’s artwork.

I am currently waiting on the Tarot of the Magical Forest. I’ve been waiting to buy it for a while now but had to recover after buying the El Goliath tarot which was way more expensive than I am used to but I just couldn’t walk away from the amazing artworks that make up the deck! Anyhoo I am super excited to get this little gem...hopefully early this week!  X-D

I got my Dark Goddess Tarot in the mail yesterday, and it's so charming! I can't believe I overlooked it before! I'm also waiting for my Mermaids Tarot and Alice Tarot to come since they're pre-ordered.

I'm anxiously awaiting a pre-copyright RWS...I keep reminding myself that I've lived without it for this long, another few days will not kill me! But still...the wait! Ugh!  :bugeyed:

So....

I just found out that my beloved and dear, dear, dear sweet hubby whom I love oh so very much "secretly" purchased the Victorian Romantic Tarot for me as a "surprise" late birthday present and it's on it's way to me!!! I cannot believe it! I'm just

I ruined the secret and surprise when I mentioned to him in passing that I may have found someone that's considering trading their copy of Victorian Romantic for a Bohemian Gothic and that I was possibly considering the trade. The look on his face said it all...  :bugeyed:

My daughter got me the Tattoo Tarot: Ink and Intuition for Christmas and I bought myself a copy of Joe Sparrow's Tarot - neither would seem to be the sort of deck I would like but I love them both and already they read brilliantly!
