I received my copy of the Healing Light Tarot today. There is too much going on at the moment, so I haven't had time yet to have more than a quick glance at the cards. It's a bit dark, but I like what I see. There is an incredible ten of wands card! Very Kafkaek  :o

I LOVE this deck and use it all the time!

My copy of the Santa Muerte tarot arrived today. I love the aesthetic and philosophy behind the Day of the Dead and it will be perfect as my All Hallows' Eve deck next year.

I also have the Sol Invictus and the companion book is amazing. The cards read very well too.

I'm gonna have both decks in my hands by the end of the month, and I'm really excited! Many people think the Santa Muerte a good autumn deck with its Day of the Dead theme and all, but I feel like it's going to be a good winter deck too. Like you. I'm going to use it for Halloween 2018 myself. And regarding its aesthetic - the cards I've seen in some video reviews had me mesmerized. This is not an ordinary theme deck - it's a work of art.

I'm so glad to know another reader who has the Sol Invictus, Flaxen. :D And since you said that it reads very well, I can't wait to do so with mine once it arrives. I have to summon all the patience of the Buddha tho - like the little boy in the story, I can't open this present until Christmas. :)

I finally got my hands on the Star Maiden Tarot!! I very rarely buy Major Arcana only decks, but this is so psychedelic and I’m such an old hippy, I couldn't resist... woo-hoo!

I broke down on Monday and went to The Tarot Garden and ordered a couple of decks. I'm getting the Bonefire Tarot! Yaaay! Since my mother's old Albano Waite deck doesn't like being shuffled the way I do (I split one card), I decided to order a new copy. I'm hopeful these will both be here soon. I'm very excited about both of them. ;D

Today I received the jumbo Trick or Tarot and the book.  The package was torn terribly and the postal service tried to patch it up.  It should have been sent in a padded envelope at least.  It was just a plain paper envelope that didn't fit the items well.  MIRACULOUSLY the book and cards - box and all are in perfect condition.  IT's amazing considering the damage to the package.  Anyway, I love the products, especially the black edging on the cards.

I'm waiting for the Santa Muerte, cards and bag, and the bag for The Book of Shadows As Above deck.  Also waiting for Ian Daniels' Faerie Enchanters Grimoire and card deck with a few prints.

That's a shame. I got my regular (deck only) which was also in an unpadded envelope - but undamaged and fine. I'd contact Freder/Douglas. He needs to know, as he really should use better envelopes.

Re:  Trick or Tarot crappy shipping envelope.

You are right, gregory.  I will let him know.

Today I received the Santa Muerte deck in the mail.  The quality of the deck and box are nicer than I was expecting so I'm really delighted.

Finally got the Smith-Waite Borderless Tarot and my very first Majors-Only deck, which I bought because I feel like I can relate very much to it. It is the Cartas Philippinensis, one of the very few Philippine-centric decks that I know of, and certainly the only one I own.

My Bonefire Tarot and new Albano-Waite Tarot arrived from The Tarot Garden yesterday! ;D They were inside a bubble-wrap type bag, which was inside a bubble-wrap-padded envelope. The Albano-Waite box had suffered a slight bit of crushing which shows on the box only - the cards are fine - and I'm sure it will suffer worse from being hauled hither and yon in my tote bag thing. The Bonefire box is perfect.

It's an Oracle Sunday! The Gods and Titans Oracle and the Fin de Siècle Kipper arrived in our shores. Something tells me that I shall be using these decks a lot. :)

My son's go to deck is the Albano-Waite.  Colors man!  ;)

I just got a bunch of decks. My chairty 1st edition of the Oracle of Oddities just arrived, so I have the full set. I also got my Personal Space deck. The box got damaged in transit, so I emailed Emily, and she's sending me a new box. I also got my Sinking Wasteland deck. Not sure how I feel about it yet, but I do enjoy the aesthetic of it.

I've had my eyes on the Oracle of Oddities for a long time.  I think it would go really well with the Wooden Tarot also.  There's another tarot that is pretty much bones and I can't think of the name of it offhand that would do well with the oracle deck also.  I hope you enjoy your new decks!

ISN'T it. I was lucky enough to get the LE in the coffin shaped box, too, and no [shadow=red,left][glow=red,2,300]13 [/glow][/shadow]of 1987 copies, at that.

I remember you saying that you have a great affinity with Death. And now, on this deck that features and celebrates the idea (or at least the imagery) of death in its manifold aspects, you got the very number assigned to the 13th Atu. Something tells me that for you, the Santa Muerte is going to be a fateful deck, gregory. ;)

Decided I could afford it and ordered the Sasuribito Tarot from Littleredtarot's shop. My first actual indie deck (vs indies gone commercial like my Ostara and Wild Unknown) and probably the last deck of the year.. I hope. This has been a big year for trying out new decks.

I'm so bad at keeping up with this thread but my Sasuraibito came last Tuesday and I really like it so far. It might be one of my favourites. The King of Cups looks exactly like my boyfriends father (minus his glasses) - he's very nice and a good host who will offer to fill up my cup with more coffee if it empties when I visit. The Pages are so lovely too, I think Stasia Burrington, the artist and deck creator, did a good job on the court cards in general. They are among the features that sold me on this deck. Some of my favourites are so very nice in this deck and there isn't a court I don't like here - Queen of Wands, Queen of Swords, Page of Cups, Page of Wands.

These past two weeks I got Shadowscape, Spiritsong, Buddhism Reading Cards, and Art Oracle and they are all unopened on my desk. Went ahead and opened "A Curious Oracle" which I love. Waiting on the Student Deck from Japan (can't seem to get any shipping info and it's been a few weeks).

I got a notification yesterday that the Wild Unknown was down to a reasonable price on Amazon, so now that's on the way!

I already have a copy of the Wild Unknown. In fact, I've just read with it extensively yesterday for a few readings. And now I'm tempted to get an extra copy, DevonCarter. :P

I ordered the Russian version of the Arcus Arcanum deck for 10.00 off ebay. Not sure if it's going to be a disappointment or not. I don't mind the Russian language as I am familiar with the cards but I hope the cards themselves are the same quality and likeness of the English version...we'll see

:D I couldn't resist - I was trying to cut down on the purchasing, but...

I saw the Wild Unknown at my friend's house, and loved it, so I was weak to the price drop!

It took me a long time to want that deck but I was watching a review and saw many of the cards and realized it is really an animal deck.  I love animal decks and was lucky to get it at a much reduced rate than when it first came out!  I'm happy to have the deck now. :)

Edit:  Oops, forgot to mention that I ordered the Tabula Mundi Colores Arcus.  The 78 cards, the 14 extra cards and the book.  I won't be ordering anymore decks for awhile (aside for the one I have pre-ordered)!  But being a part of this forum now has really excited me about Thoth decks.  I have the Crowley tarot but I rarely use it and would like to learn more about the Thoth system.  Thanks guys!  :P  :D
