I just picked up a tarot deck the other week and thought I’d try learning how to read them. I’m hoping I can find some exercises or exchange partners on here so I can practice. I tried Reddit but it’s mostly flooded with people asking for money to read for you, so I didn’t think it was worth posting there. Glad I found this place!
 

With Halloween rapidly approaching, getting into tarot is helping me get in the mood for spooky fun. It’s my favorite time of year.

I'm very much a Halloween person myself. Even New Years Eve doesn't compare, since if one actually goes out, it's an exercise in picking ones' way through parking lot whoopsie. Ew! But I love the beginning of cooler weather (Long sleeves! Sweaters! Hats!) and the emphasis on spooky stuff you get with Halloween.

There are just SO many options of Oracle Decks! Do you have a particular theme you like? Hanging out at the Oracles forum and seeing what people have been using can also be inspiring… be careful though, people’s deck collection tends to grow exponentially after they join the forum, lol! 😆

Onibaba is a great film to watch during Halloween, yes. One of the reasons I chose that as my name; I’ve been wanting to watch it again to get in the mood for spooky things.
