TaniaS Posted October 4, 2021 Posted October 4, 2021 Hello, I am still relatively new in tarot readings , but do truly enjoy them , and do feel like I connect to what the cards are telling me. In the past few months I have noticed (not that it's been hard to) , that I repeatedly am drawing The Judgment in my readings and always in an upright position, presented as me now or "What to do" type of a card. I do understand the basic- change seeking meaning of the card and see that there is a lesson to be learned. But wanted to hear your visions and thoughts about that. Thank you.
DanielJUK Posted October 4, 2021 Posted October 4, 2021 Hi @TaniaS welcome to the community You might want to introduce yourself in our Introductions Section. Your discussion about The Judgement card should really be in the individual card meanings area but you need 5 posts to be able to reply to posts in that area and so I have moved your thread over to Tarot Talk and Technique as a discussion for now. Business of Tarot is really for business discussions and so it will fit in better here 🙂 We can only discuss the The Judgement in a general way and not interpret your reading. If you want it interpreted personally to your situation you need to get to 5 posts and we need to move it to Personal Tarot Readings.
Gypsylady Posted October 5, 2021 Posted October 5, 2021 When this happens with me, I see the Judgment card as advice that I need to make amends with my past. That is the way I always perceive this card, but definitely if it keeps reappearing, it means I need to make amends with a part of my past, someone or something that has happened. Almost like "you need to work through this- you're still hanging on to it". Hope this kind of helps 🙂

For me, the Judgment always speaks of something that needs to be sorted and decided once and for all. It's a situation in which you have to choose whether to continue a certain way or to embrace change. Many times in life we think that we have chosen a different path, but something in us refuses to let it go completely. Like when you give up one someone who doesn't reciprocate your feelings, say that you are over them, but continue to check their social media or to think about them. The Judgment is the moment when you have to ultimately decide whether you want to really move on to something new or to insist on the path that you are (and usually, we are denying the very fact that we are holding onto something). That's why the Judgment has the "dead" coming out of their tombs. It's like sorting the skeletons in the closet, as uncomfortable as it is. You have to face reality, to look at the dead parts in the eye and to really decide to let go of them, or at least to take them with you in a different way - as a lesson, as a memory, but no longer as something that defines your life so much. If it's showing up regularly to you, the Judgment could be telling you that you are on threshold of a choice or a decision that you maybe have been putting off for a while now or refusing to face.
TaniaS Posted October 10, 2021 Author Posted October 10, 2021 Thank you all for your responses, I appreciate your thoughts and have found them quite helpful. I am sorry, if I've posted this into the wrong section, but wasn't sure where to. Again many thanks and have a lovely day.
Eric13 Posted October 10, 2021 Posted October 10, 2021 Frequently receiving the same card in a spread can also be a sign that you are in tune with your deck as well.
AlbaTross Posted October 14, 2021 Posted October 14, 2021 If you receive a card once, it might be important. If you receive it twice, you should pay extra attention to what it's saying. If you receive it three or more times, it's trying to tell you something that you need to know, so don't dismiss it. If more than one deck is showing you that card, it's something you need to know, and it's not just a quirk of a single deck, so you know it's especially important. Judgment is a really positive card, especially in its upright position. You're being called to something greater, but only you can make the choices that will decide whether you end up on the intended path.
