Gypsylady Posted October 6, 2021 Posted October 6, 2021 Hello!  After reading a thread on here about daily readings, I decided it may be good for me to get back into it 🙂  The strange thing is that I pulled three cards, and all three were Major Arcana (The Magician- The Tower- The Hanged Man).  Have you had experience pulling all Major Arcana Cards for a reading? If so, did anything significant happen that day?Â
joy Posted October 6, 2021 Posted October 6, 2021 Hello @Gypsylady just want to clarify if you want to discuss this in general or if you want to talk about your reading?
Gypsylady Posted October 6, 2021 Author Posted October 6, 2021 @joy Just want to know if others have had a similar experience and whether or not they've found that a high number of Major Arcana cards resulted in an eventful/unusual day. Thanks!
gregory Posted October 6, 2021 Posted October 6, 2021 I'm never sure how that works - there are a lot of people who only use the majors.... Can they only ever pick up on big stuffs ?

Can they only ever pick up on big stuffs ?  I've personally always viewed Major Arcana cards as things that happening in your life that are "fated", so to speak, as opposed to big events. I see the Minor Arcana cards as events/situations that you have control over and can change, but consider the Major Arcana cards as things that will happen that are out of your control.  In terms of daily readings though, which tend to be more mundane, I'm not 100% sure 🙂Â
Marina Posted October 6, 2021 Posted October 6, 2021 In my opinion, when a more routine reading has only Majors, it because the Tarot is trying to make a message very clear to me. It's not just talking, it's SCREAMING. Â Â That does not mean the cards meanings are necessarily as intense... like, the Tower is not "total catastrophe" (usually), but it can mean that something is going in a direction that might bring me problems, but for some reason I'm not seeing it. The Hanged Man could mean that I'll have to face some delays that will hinder me or keep me from doing something I want to or must do. The Tarot is trying to make me pay attention to these, so it's sending very "loud" cards.
DanielJUK Posted October 7, 2021 Posted October 7, 2021 Yes I would say with the major cards that the day might have a more fated / destined theme or feel to it, rather than one where you have free will or choices. For example, say you decided to see a friend, that is more mundane and minor arcana. But with the majors, perhaps something changes in your day, like something cancels, you just have to roll with what goes on and go with the flow of it! It;s out of your control. Also it could be something that is pushing you on to a destined path. I would say the same premise about majors / minor happens with a daily pull but the daily cards really have a tiny energy, they last for 24 hours, there is probably much less obvious difference between majors / minor energy in what happens.
