newbie to the community

Hi Folks:

 

Walter here - I live in Victoria BC Canada and have had tarot cards for at least 35 years.  I was reintroduced to more tarot activity with a wonderful online conference run from this city last year where there were evening sessions (at least two a night?) for wednesday thursday and friday and all day saturday and sunday - it was a tarot immersion and I got back into things and I've been hooked ever since.

 

I've been with another community doing 'Free Tarot Readings' which has upped my game considerably - I'm faster and getting reasonably accurate (I think!) results - and the feedback has been quite good (friends caution that many clients for free readings haven't a clue about how to evaluate their reading and tend to rate based on how much they liked the reading!)...  But I think that time will come to an end in the next while, so I was interested to check out this site.

 

I collect too many decks (hahaha, I hear folks agreeing!) and do have most all of the gay-themed decks ranging from simple conversions of RWS imagery to like full-on-almost-pornographic male nudes... and everything in between.

 

My go-to deck is Hanson Roberts - my go to spread is an 11 card celtic cross without a pre-chosen significator...

 

I look forward to exploring this community and sharing

you mean there's a thread of DIS-enabling deck purchases....   oooh, this may be help!  I do look at new (to me) decks and then try to say "no no no, you haven't finished with the ones you've got already!"  and most of the time that works...

That could be dicey, though - we never finish with them, lol. I still use RWS sometimes and it's been literally decades.

That is a difficult and broad question 😀 What are your expectations?

What is fun for some is not so much fun for others 😝 I am sure you will find your places!
