What happened in this situation, may I ask? I am wired very similarly to you and I don’t think it’s a flaw at all. If I feel something is right I, too, will say it, and it hasn’t steered me wrong yet :). Sorry you had so much opposition about this! :).

@Mediolanum - As somebody who has experienced a soul mate in my life—and when they do appear out of the blue, boy do you KNOW It!—I'd say what you did won't put them off, IF they truly ARE your soul mate.  A soul mate is somebody who understands you and why you do things and isn't put off by them. They accept you as you are. The feeling between you is totally mutual.  If you got this right, that person understands what you did—and why—and and will respond.  You won't necessarily be 'together' forever, but you will come together at this point in time, and the unbreakable connection will always be there, even if you can't actually live or be together in the future.

On the other hand, if you misunderstood what you were feeling (and reading via the Lenormand) then you may well have scared them off!  But if they aren't your soul mate, that doesn't matter unless you find it embarrassing, and perhaps regret having messed up the chance at a good friendship.  Time will tell.

I wish you all the best, regardless!  You sound like a confident person who is willing to go out on a limb for what you believe in.  You'll be fine, either way.
