Tarot workshops and courses?

Hi all,

 

I'm wondering if anyone knows some good tarot workshops or courses, especially in UK? I could get a book I suppose, but reading is difficult for me as I tend to lose focus very quickly (although if you do have book recommendations, post them here!).

Some of the London tarot shops have courses on different topics. I get emails from them all, so if I see any interesting ones will post here for you

Tabi (our association) does courses every so often, I have done 1 or 2, they are done online and at your own speed

I keep meaning to do the Little Red Tarot Course, you have to pay for it - https://littleredtarot.com/learn-tarot/alternative-tarot-course/ I think I remember that @gregory did it during lockdown

 

I'm afraid I don't really know any which doesn't have some reading a book or a webpage, even in person

 

For Books -

Tarot for Your Self by Mary K. Greer - This is a workbook, you work through it and get a better personal connection with the cards

78 Degrees of Wisdom by Rachel Pollack (RIP) - This is about the wisdom of each card

I was actually hoping this was something we could do on this forum. Like, having experienced practitioners share tips and guide beginners in certain areas. And that we could have groups where certain topics are practiced and discussed. So not a mentoring thing, but a group thing. I did suggest it to staff and I hope it’s something that could be arranged eventually. I believe there are quite a few members that would like and benefit from this. Both beginners, intermediate and experienced people could be inspired and grow from it, in my opinion. In the meantime though, books are probably your best bet. I hope you find something of interest in that thread 🙂

It's a long-term plan to hopefully do something like that. The problem is working it out so it's not a lot of work and effort on one person or a few people and it's sustainable to carry on for a long time.

When we work it all out, we will offer it! 🙂

I didn’t mean that staff would offer anything! What I meant that members who wanted to run a group could do it. Much like how we run reading circles or study groups. So those that want to go deeper with a topic could do so together. I think it doesn’t have to be long term either. People could decide for themselves how long they will do it and what it would entail. It’s like when Wanderer ran his intuitive group here. And was there not also a Thoth group? And people study lenormand together. That’s the stuff I was thinking about. By members, for members! 🙂
