Anyway. Somewhere, probably on Cartomancy or somewhere, I have a list of my Tarot, Lennie, Oracle decks; I don't think I have it on here anywhere, but I'm certain that by now it's out of date, and the newer decks aren't put in with the others yet, so there it is... Those that are actually in their proper places are in 3 wooden chests, about 3 cardboard DVD boxes, and a duffel. Those that are part of sets are in a bookcase along with various esoteric topic books. I haven't tried to list playing cards yet; that almost seems too daunting. But in the interest of making them easy to find, I have as many as possible standing on end so I can just read the lids. I need to re-organize them, and when I do I think I'll make space in one of the chests for the boxed sets and any overflow of standard size items can go into another DVD box (I have spares). I think I have some 60 or 70 Tarots, a few Lennies, a couple Kippers, a Sibilla, a few oracles; but I never counted how many decks of playing cards I have. Those would definitely bring the grand total over 100. And all of this is in my bedroom; they're either on top of one of the dressers, in a neighboring bookcase, or under the highboy.

Actually my mini-RWS is right here next to the computer, ready to hand if I need to do something, and easy to grab and put in my bag if I want to take a deck somewhere just because. And I have very little spreading room on this desk.

I took photos of my collections and uploaded them here. My collection is subdivided into groups, and they're all up regularly on my tarot calendar. I keep them in open baskets.

This for example is my basket of decks with Asian and oriental influences.

These 12 baskets are for the astrological signs, and they're changed when a new star sign comes in.

One basket is for the decks I always keep in use.

Thoth and Tabula Mundi, Hermetic Kabbalah and Arcana of Astrology.

I also have an oracle basket.

And one for playing cards.

Did I forget my Lenormands?

What a nicely curated collection. Thank you for taking the pictures and sharing them!

@SilverFox I have a lot of the decks you do.  I remember how excited I was when I bought 1JJ Swiss Tarot.

I have my old decks stored inconveniently in the attic, and there was no place for a tenth deck in one picture, but my most frequently used decks are included here:

Here is a peek at my collection. I’m not listing them all but you get an idea of what I have and how I categorize them.

Top drawer are my most used decks, plus some decks that I want to work with more.

I have the Inner compass Oracle, Stella tarot, Stretch tarot, the Heartsisters Oracle and some other of my staple decks in bags.

Second drawer are miscellaneous decks that I like but don’t use as often. The drawers are deeper than what you can see and everything is stacked, so I do have quite a few decks in there, including the indie Lightseers tarot, the indie Dark goddess tarot, Mesquite tarot, the indie Wild Unknown, Fauna tarot etc.

Third drawer has historical reproductions and playing cards etc

Below this I have a fourth drawer for runes, ogham and tools, which I’m not going to feature here.

You have a nice collection @Raggydoll. I’m pleased that you have the Herbcrafters Tarot, too.  I’ve had that one for some time but haven’t had a chance to study it and work with it, yet.  Nearly all of my decks are currently stored in waterproof plastic totes until I’m living in my own space where I can spread things out again.  That said, I do list my tarot decks in my profile which, for some reason, it seems that no one can see but me.  (I am unable to see anyone else’s profile, as well)

The Herbcrafters is a deck I really enjoy. The artwork is so nice and the guidebook has lots of great info. There is only one card in the deck that makes me a bit hesitant to use the deck for some people. Though overall it is a lovely, lovely deck!

Spoiler

The card I’m referring to is the Adelita of Air, aka the vaginal steam bath card ! 😁

I can actually see your collection, @RunningWild - all nicely alphabetized, and my, that's quite an eclectic gathering 🙂 (There's an arrow next to the word "Activity" that opens a dropdown menu - don't know if you knew).

It’s a kind of something-for-every-mood collection, plus I enjoy quirky decks.  A couple are just garbage but I keep them as a cautionary tale and more recently my aim was to have at least one deck from each ‘genre’, if you will.

I thought there was a members directory with a list of the people who are here and their profiles?  It doesn’t matter, really.  Sometimes I just get nosy and want to see if others list their decks.  I don’t do that often enough to matter.

🤣  I vaguely remember seeing that card when I first acquired the deck.

I tried to use the button to insert image from url but it wouldn’t let me so I hope this is ok. If not, I apologize. I want to get the unicorn tarot next just because I collect unicorns.

For some reason, while I can use the text you posted to get to the image, if you then right click and "copy image address", for the address you get:

Paste THAT in your post and you get:

Fair enough; I forgot - BUT - those links will never be active; EmarieWithADHD will still have to do what I suggested to get the images up there (I was testing as I couldn't see them at first !)

Ah ok. Sorry! I’ll share my decks soon then 🙂

I have been organizing my card collection since I've moved.  I have two cabinets for my tarot cards.  This is the main one with my altar on top.

Cute vintage cabinet! The glass doors are nice to keep dust off. Mine are on open shelves so i need to dust them periodically 😇

@EmarieWithADHD Thanks for the compliment.  I don't know why but the Medieval Scapini has always given me the creeps.  I removed in from my collection long ago.  I have bad vibes from it; I'm glad it works for you.
