I like to be juuuust a little bit different, what can I say.  Hello and good morning (or at least it is here) and nice to meet you.  You can call me Ren.  I'm in my 50s, live alone in the uber liminal midwest USA. I've always been interested in paranormal/psychic phenomenon but never invested much time into it.  I have an old Rider Waite deck that I've had since the 80s but never bothered to spend much time learning and interpreting the cards until now.  I found a great deal on a good course on Udemy for a bit o' guidance and have already found a lot of resources to organize into a manual of sorts that I can use to learn the cards and be a resource as I go along.   I'm looking to connect with other learners as well as teachers to hone my skills and perhaps find a way to bring in a little money.  Who knows? Not planning where it goes, just have the luxury of waiting for my path.

Welcome, @OTarot! It sounds like you’ve come to the right place! There are all of those things here and more! Please feel free to jump right in on any of the topics, post your own, and participate in our many monthly circle reading exchanges. @DanielJUK has a link with details on those.

Thanks for the warm welcome, I have so many questions, I'm finding it hard to decide where to start.  What a great conundrum to have!  :balloon_ego:

Welcome to the community @OTarot / Ren 😀:animated-smileys-signs-085::78496: Glad you have found us here from the Midwest.

As @FindYourSovereignty said, when you get to 5 posts around the place, the reading and exchange areas open up to you. We have places where you can offer to read for others. The monthly reading circles are places where you are randomly paired with another member, a great way to practise if you want to give it a go. There is a gentle one for people starting out called Newbies, or ISG is just intuitively reading one card (or a few cards). They begin at the start of every month and last that month and have various date deadlines and stuff. Read up on them when you get to 5 posts if you are interested 🙂 . I think they are a great way of turning what you have learnt into actually making it happen as learn as you go as you get feedback on the reading and how it went.

Please let us know if you need any help around the forum or have any questions about using this place 😊

Thanks for the welcome, Daniel!  This is exactly what I'm wanting, a place to practice and learn.  Looking forward to it!

Oh that's great to know, I'm glad you're finding the information you need.  I'm finding my way around still, but there's some great intuitive readers here.
