Hi! I've reading cards for four years now. I joined this forum because I enjoy studying my decks but would love to share what I learn, and learn from others, too. That said, where are the Study Groups for specific decks located on this forum? I clicked around but didn't manage to find that.

I want to make a study group for my home deck, the Dreaming Way, if one hasn't been made already. It's the deck I learned RWS-style tarot with, and I don't think it's possible to outgrow it (from my experience). It's one of those decks that you can read for quick and dirty divination if you want to, and you can also dive ever deeper into if you want to.

Or if study groups aren't a thing, perhaps I can make a series of blog posts here about it. Or YouTube videos. I don't know, I'll see.

Anyway, I'm happy to be here. Nice to meet you all!

Hi, I've BEEN reading cards for four years now. Wish it was possible to edit posts. Or is there a way that I just haven't figured out?

Welcome to the forum @Mynah 😀:animated-smileys-signs-085::78496: glad you have found us here

There are some forum restrictions until you get to 5 posts, like max words in a post and accessing all the forum.

You can edit a post by the top right hand menu on a post. You can edit a post only for 60 mins after posting, unless you are a subscriber. I think you can edit before 5 posts.

We do have study groups. I will check we don't have one for this deck later, you are welcome to start one, I will get you the details. I think you need to be over 5 posts though 😀

Thank you! Are you talking about the three dots in the top right hand corner of a post? It's only giving me the options to to Report or Share the post. I guess the ability to edit will also be unlocked after five posts. It's also not allowing me to @ you or quote you either, saying that there are limits in place. And thank you for telling me that some areas of the forum will be unlocked for me after I make 5 posts, that explains a lot!

We get a lot of spammers that the forum filters out of public view 🙂 So we don't let new members have all the features until they have posted for a while

If you would like to make a study group for the deck you want to work on, you can request on here -

Contact me if you need any help with it at all 🙂

@DanielJUK That makes sense. I am wondering whether to make a club, or actually a Journal thread at this point. I am not sure how many others are working with this deck, and a lot of my learnings from it are through working with it and personally experiencing what it was communicating to me. But I do want to discuss the imagery, how it differs from the RWS (because it's not a clone, and it's quite an independent-minded deck). I want to make one thread about it, because making a club with multiple threads is intimidating to me right now haha. Probably once I get more comfortable with this forum, I won't feel like that anymore.
It's cool that the clubs exist, and I will participate in them in some way or another.

No worries, it's an idea for the future 🙂

You are more than welcome to take out a Blog (public) or Journal (members logged in with over 5 posts can see it, so some privacy).

If you keep each of your insights / discussions / work per card in one post for each, if you ever decide you want to make a study group later, we can split them up and move them over
