Libra 58 Posted April 21 Posted April 21 I have been searching Aeclectic up and down for a spread that I can´t find again. It was made of all 78 cards and spread out on the floor in the shape of a person. Two pictures was taken, one on the upper part of the "person" and one on the lower part. Is there anyone of you "old" Aeclectic members that remember this spread or at least have seen it?
Rose Lalonde Posted April 21 Posted April 21 It's likely NOT the Adam Kadmon based spread called Sword & Shield, since that has 15 positions, but your question made me think that "Adam Kadmon" might be a good search term for for a large, person-shaped spread. On the off chance that many cards are used in each position, here's the one I thought of. It's from the Thoth forum rather than the spreads forum. Sword & Shield Spread - GD Derivative -- Likely none of that is helpful 🙃, but I guess it can't hurt in case...

Libra 58 Posted April 22 Author Posted April 22 @DanielJUK Thank you for trying, but it´s not any one of them. Maybe it was private pictures that now have been removed. I remember that the pictures showed that the spread was done from one room to another and there was a door opening and that the spread was over the thresholder.

I have been looking through Aeclectic and can´t find it, so I think it has been removed. The spread was about two meter long with all 78 cards. Maybe just someone was joking with that spread. I can't remember if there was a way of how to read the cards. But thank you all for trying!💜

Some stuff is not online and maybe it was accidentally not added in the archive. Worth asking if it can be found and made public. If it was in a reading circle or exchange, none of those are public but most tarot spreads area spreads are.

Scandinavianhermit Posted April 23 Posted April 23 I haven't heard about a tarot spread called 'Adam Kadmon', but if you, or anyone else, are interested in the shape of the final full version of the post-Lurianic Kabbalistic tree of life as envisioned by Rabbi Meir Poppers (1624-1662) and edited by Knorr von Rosenroth (1684), an English translation by Christopher Atton and Stephen Dziklewicz was published by Adam McLean in 1987. Could it be that diagram, that inspired the aforementioned tarot spread?

RunningWild Posted April 24 Posted April 24 Even I spent part of today over on AT trying to find such a spread. I went through most of them except for Barleywine’s spreads and didn’t see anything that resembled what you’re looking for. I just ran out of steam by the time I got to Barleywine but I doubt there are any full deck spreads in there.

Thank you all for all your help, but I give up now. I only took a chance that maybe someone in here would remember the pictures because they looked so funny.

The spread creator explains how it's laid out about half way down and it isn't in the shape of a person. Also, I don't recall any mention of laying it out on the floor though with a full deck spread you could do if you didn't have any other surface big enough. And then I thought maybe someone should make a full deck spread in the shape of a body outline at a crime scene. Because ...I was getting giddy.🤣
