Bodhiseed Posted April 28, 2025 Posted April 28, 2025 Thank you Fire cat! I'm in this week with the Delta Enduring Tarot paired with the Southernisms Oracle. When we bear witness, the right action arises by itself. We don't have to worry about what to do. ―Bernie Glassman We spay and neuter the cats we adopt (even though they are indoors), but here, like many places, we have a feral cat problem. Though some people can't afford to pay for the vet's services, others who have outdoor cats simply turn a blind eye to the kittens they produce who must make their own way. The "Playing possum" card points to this habit of pretending, yet the Six of Cast Irons encourages us to not turn away. We all have resources we can share, even if it is only attention or a kind word.
Rachelcat Posted April 28, 2025 Posted April 28, 2025 Good morning, everyone! I hope we all have a happy week ahead. This week for me will be Surreal Tarot and Dream Decoder Deck. I decided I needed the Surreal Tarot to add to my “Artists and Art Styles” subcollection. It’s by Luigi di Giammarino, the artist of the Metamorphosis Tarot and Dream Inspirational Cards that I keep shuffled together as a double deck, which are pretty surreal themselves. (Oh, I just realized, another dream deck . . .) All from Lo Scarabeo. The tarot alludes to known surreal artworks and artists. I even bought an art book so I could spot them, but the book doesn’t have as many artworks as I thought it would. I guess it will be good for spotting artists though? The booklet has titles for each card except courts. Majors also have quotes from artists. Suit titles: wands are folly; cups are l’amour fou; swords are the unconscious; pentacles are liberation. I’ve had other fun little dream dictionary-style decks over the years that I’ve given away, but I picked up this Dream Decoder Deck recently. It’s 100 poker-sized cards of various items that might be in dreams. Maybe it’s AI, but I’m kind of ok with AI decks if they’re simply a collection of common objects. I think. We’ll see this week. Two interviews! What is your most important characteristic? 10 of Cups, Beautiful Realities The deck a love letter to surrealism that we all can enjoy. What is your strength? Queen of Pentacles A thing of beauty is a joy forever. Emphasis on “thing.” Your weakness? 9 of Wands, Postcard from Golconda The illustration is a combination of two Dali paintings, while Golconda is the title of a Magritte painting. The deck’s execution is a bit too personal/individualistic. What can you teach me? Knight of Swords I can’t figure out who this is. Dali made a “lobster phone,” and I’m assuming this is an extension of that. And bringing in some Get Smart! Obviously pointing out the connections of surrealism with dada. It can teach me to be even more analytical and detail-oriented than I am! Especially with tarot reading. How can I learn it? 5 of Cups, Symmetrical Deception This looks like Magritte. I can learn to be more detail-oriented by accepting that some details are sad. What will be the outcome of our work together? The Devil, A Logical Devil Very funny, Dali is the devil. The deck will teach me that rebellion is a good and necessary thing, even when it’s messy and not very pretty. I’ve been getting that a lot recently! What is your most important characteristic? Feather The deck is light, but there is some thought behind it. What is your strength? Wine It can be gently intoxicating but revealing. In vino veritas. Your weakness? Snake It is deceptively simple. Or deceptively helpful. What can you teach me? Squirrel It can teach me to have fun but be prepared. And maybe to go out on a limb. How can I learn it? Rabbit Quickly and abundantly, but cautiously. What will be the outcome of our work together? Boat It will take me places. Fun! I’m not looking anything up in the booklet for this deck for a while I think.
Rachelcat Posted April 28, 2025 Posted April 28, 2025 Monday Surrealist Tarot and Dream Decoder Deck this week. Morning Dew: Stillness What do I need to hear in the silence? Two each. For some unknown reason. 9 of Cups, Happy Omens + Ace of Wands, The Invention of Life Life is good if I act like it is. Today is the first day of the rest of my life. nose + driving I smell the freshness of the morning dew. And I don’t have to go far to experience it. Sounds good to me! Good lessons if I can put them into practice.

Natural Mystic Guide Posted April 29, 2025 Posted April 29, 2025 This week I am playing with the 'Lenono Fortune Telling Cards' by Paris Debono. A girlfriend (whom I actually became friends with on another Tarot Forum and she comes to Bali!) loves these cards. Debono 'improved' upon the Lenormand system by changing a few cards and subtracting some cards. This deck is, I think, big in Australia. So Lenormand + Debono = Lenono. It features 20 cards. Debono has created numerous iterations of the deck, as well as other decks. I resonated most with the. Japanese style Lenono deck. Has anyone else here played with Lenono?

Libra 58 Posted April 30, 2025 Posted April 30, 2025 Every month I draw this card that stands for the whole month, this April I got the Death card! And todays card and also the end of April I got the Tower! Those two cards together does not sound god... But it is what it is! April is out now and I hope for a better month card in May. I don´t think that the week has been so bad, Monday started with the Hierophant and a lot of knowledge for me to learn. Tuesday /yesterday I got Ace of Pentacles meaning for me that I shall be proud of what I have and take good care of it. And today the Tower, don´t know what have been so bad today but it can show on something that I have been thinking on for a long time, that I really need to start to sort up things here in my home. The rest of the week is yet to be known!

All month April has been terrible for me, and I have been thinking that "traditionally" April is supposedly not a good month... I hope that May will be much better for you!🤗 It didn´t get better with the cards... I got the Death card for May again and 1 of May card is 4 of Swords! I feel confused, shall I start and try to finish something or shall I rest? The blind man on the 4 of Swords make me think that I just run around not knowing what I´m looking for!😕🤔 Edited May 1, 2025 by Libra 58
Natural Mystic Guide Posted May 2, 2025 Posted May 2, 2025 The first reading taught in Lenono Fortune Telling Cards The Official Handbook is a simple 3-Card reading. Past - Present - Future. Meanings for the cards are in the handbook and also many of them appear on the cards themselves. My question was to look at a hypothetical new romance (although a friend did come to mind after I chose my question). So what is the prognosis for this new romance? Just looking at these 3 cards, it looks like perhaps this new romance does have a rosy future and that it was also instrumental in helping the querent to get unstuck from the past. Things get more complicated, though. There are 'Special Paris Pairings'. These are two contiguous cards that add extra weight. In the case of this reading, we have the 'The Key' and 'The Scythe'. We are told that something opens and shuts quickly. My hit on this is that this romance will be short lived, but that it will help the querent to move on. A new different romance is in the future.
Libra 58 Posted May 5, 2025 Posted May 5, 2025 (edited) Friday: King of Swords. A man comes in a room with bad news to an old man/woman in a wheelchair. I assume it´s bad news since it´s a Sword card and that the man looks like a doctor because of the old doctor bag he´s holding in his hand. A man of some kind of "person in authority" any way with bad news. Saturday: Temperance. A woman is on her knees in front of a big gate, she ´s holding two cups/mugs in her hands and they are filling up by running water from two gold fish heads in the gate. Sunday: Knave/Page of Chalices. A man in very warm clothes is walking around in a very dry land with a divining - rod looking for water. My thoughts is that what ever is coming, I have to be patient and it's not sure it's positive. I really "not like" this Tarot of the 78 Doors!🙄 I look at the pictures and think of RWS pictures, they have absolutely nothing in common... Also wondering if someone is reading this and understand what I´m writing?😄 Edited May 5, 2025 by Libra 58
