Bodhiseed Posted July 14, 2025 Posted July 14, 2025 I bet you're enjoying this crazy heat, Fire cat! 😊❤️ I'm in this week with the Middle Way Arcana paired with the Vertical Oracle. Thank you! Understand that just as a bird needs two wings to fly, you must develop wisdom and compassion simultaneously. Wisdom is a correct understanding of reality and compassion is the desire for all beings to be liberated from the causes of suffering. ―Mattieu Ricard The Emperor holds his hands in the Anjali ("offering") mudra, a symbol of respect as well as unity. He understands that the discernment of wisdom needs to be paired with the kindness of compassion in order to have a balanced peace. His "laws" - the precepts - are meant to guide us toward this balanced harmony: nurture all beings, be generous, speak from the heart, treat others with dignity, and cultivate a clear mind. Ritual is not meant to be a monotonous practice, but a way to slow our mind and body down so that we remember what is sacred and important. It helps us clarify our intentions and provides a check to see if we're traveling the Way or have taken an exit ramp. The Anjali mudra is also a ritualized gesture; it reminds us that within our palms is a seed that will be planted by our actions and words. What fruit will it produce?
Rachelcat Posted July 14, 2025 Posted July 14, 2025 The Field Tarot and Familiar Field Oracle by Hannah Elizabeth Fofana, US Games, this week. The oracle is a repeat, but I think I need to use them together this week. They’re subjects of my “flat art” collecting. I got the oracle first because I didn’t think I wanted a keywordy tarot, but the tarot grew on me. (Like mold.) The oracle is an animal deck (thus “familiars”), with three keywords per card/animal and “suits” of Land, Sky, and Water. 60 cards. I’m sensing a Thoth inspiration in the tarot because Justice is VIII, Strength is XI, XXI is The Universe, and a suit is Disks. But it doesn’t follow all Thoth conventions, or all Thoth keywords, so we’ll see. Two interviews time! What is your most important characteristic? Seven of Swords, Deception Uh oh! Maybe I can’t trust its readings? Or maybe it’s good at detecting deception? Love the fox though. What is your strength? Two of Cups, Union It works best with its companion oracle? Your weakness? Two of Swords, Decisions It’s not good at helping me make decisions. What can you teach me? The Devil It’s trying to be challenging here! It can teach me about immorality—and deception! How can I learn it? Four of Wands, Celebration I need to keep a close leash (4) on my actions (wands). What will be the outcome of our work together? Two of Wands, Planning Three twos across the top. The deck is going to be quite a character and have its own way of talking about things. The readings will be like a conversation between the two of us. (I don’t see 2 Wands as planning. 2s are force, and wands are action, so 2 Wands is action. Planning is more 8 Wands because 8s are Mercury, mind.) Well, I don’t think I’ve ever had such a confrontational interview before. Interesting! What is your most important characteristic? The Parrot, Truth, Influence, Communication The deck is ready, willing, and able to tell the truth in an understandable way. What is your strength? The Wolf, Wildness, Leadership, Kinship It gives good information on family and leadership issues. Your weakness? The Armadillo, Defense, Boundaries, Detachment It’s up front and doesn’t respect boundaries. It goes on the offensive, not the defensive. What can you teach me? The Bat, Insight, Sensitivity, Darkness Even though it seems pretty superficial—pretty animals and lots of keywords—it can be deep and insightful. How can I learn it? The Fly, Frustration, Survival, Impurity Another challenge! I can learn deeper insights by being open to learning about the ugly or just annoying parts of life. What will be the outcome of our work together? The Sloth, Relaxation, Composure, Indifference Our connection will be slow to come together, but the readings will be easy to understand. Ok, then. I’m really looking forward to the challenges these deck have to offer together.
Libra 58 Posted July 14, 2025 Posted July 14, 2025 Tarot of the 78 doors. Monday card 9 of Pentacles. A woman invite a couple to come in to her house. There is a bird on the stair next to the couples. They all look happy so it´s friends that is meeting, maybe for a dinner and just catching up with each other. The bird is free to come and fly as it wants to, it looks like it´s singing. I don´t know what that means to me. I have just rested during the day. Maybe for me to try to catch up with myself and my daily life? Maybe sharing my life and thoughts with someone else?

Libra 58 Posted July 15, 2025 Posted July 15, 2025 Tuesday card: The Sun. A card that is showing two dancing naked people in a maze. Everything is fine, no problems in the world. Only a card I can wish that was true. I have to try really hard to see the positive things around me and the world. There are so many things that are positive but I don´t see it and I can´t embrace it. That the sun itself is slowly killing us with it´s heat, that is another subject!😎🥵
Libra 58 Posted July 18, 2025 Posted July 18, 2025 Wednesday card: 6 in Chalices. An older woman is sitting reading a story for three children and a younger woman. The older woman is sharing a story for the young ones, maybe they learn something of the story I see myself as the younger woman that is sitting listening. I relax and enjoy myself, don't take any notice of the children. Thursday card: 6 of Swords. A young man is sitting and studying something on his computer. On the wall in front of him are masks, spears from Africa and maps that shows parts of Africa I guess. I need to get out more and see more of the world around me! Since that is not possible I have to study on the computer for "travels"! Or in my case maybe read more about different places on our Earth.
Libra 58 Posted July 19, 2025 Posted July 19, 2025 Friday card: Knight in Pentacles. The Knight is bringing a gift to the woman outside the castle. I still don´t know what kind of gift it´s. Something I probably have to gift to myself, but what? Saturday card: 10 of Pentacles. A man and a woman have just got married, they are standing on the church stairs and getting greeted in happiness of people. Something that I should celebrate today, don't know what that could be, either. It's getting more and more boring for every card I got!
Libra 58 Posted July 20, 2025 Posted July 20, 2025 (edited) Sunday card: The Emperor. A strong, reliable and successful man. He has a lot of knowledge of most things. He is absolute the opposite of me. He would probably be someone that could help me with my life, all my questions and all my problems ... but where do i find him? Edited July 20, 2025 by Libra 58
