QueenofSwords Posted January 16 Posted January 16 Hello everyone, I started learning Tarot a couple of months ago and joined this forum to learn, exchange perspectives, and explore some of the questions I carry with me. I’m very much a “mind person”: I value honesty above anything, I’m introverted, rational, and atheist. I live in Europe, in the Alps, though I was born on another continent and grew up within a different culture. I currently work with a Rider–Waite–Smith Tarot and the Mythic Tarot by Liz Greene. My interests have always gravitated toward ancient history (especially Ancient Greece and Rome), mythology (Greek and Nordic), and more recently philosophy and psychology. I’m currently reading my first Jung book. My approach to Tarot is symbolic and psychological rather than mystical. I don’t work with spirits, entities, or magical beliefs, but I see Tarot as a rich language of symbols that can help with reflection, insight, and meaning-making. I hope to learn from others here, exchange ideas respectfully, and perhaps contribute a perspective that shows Tarot can be explored thoughtfully even from a rational, non-religious standpoint. This is also why I chose the name QueenofSwords. Thank you for welcoming me, and I wish you all the best.

I think in order to edit you have to reach a certain post count... But a moderator will probably come along and be able to edit your post for you if you give them permission.

You have 60 mins after posting to edit a post and then you cannot anymore (apart from subscribers who can always edit). You can always contact us or just post below it like you did.

I'm glad to have found there is someone else aligned with my perspective as well. So far I found you all very welcoming and helpful. Regarding the forum so far (I have yet to look into every corner of if) I found it very tranquil, rich, very well organised, and from a quick look, with many people who would like to help others and share their knowledge.
