silly-sybil Posted May 9 Posted May 9 hey all! it's an honour for me to be a part of the Tarot, Tea & Me community! online, I go by Sybil (she/her). I'm a university student studying Art History in Italy. in fact, English is not my first language – Italian is, so I apologise beforehand for any mistakes. when it comes to Tarot, I first ran into it in 2019... and it stuck in my head ever since! with years passing by, I also learned other divination systems – Vera Sibilla, Lenormand, Parlour Sybil, Italian cartomancy, etc. it's a pleasure to meet you all!
DanielJUK Posted May 9 Posted May 9 Welcome to the community @silly-sybil I'm glad you have found us here and your English is excellent. Please join in any divination discussions you want to. There is more freedom and more areas of the forum when you reach 5 posts 🙂
joy Posted May 9 Posted May 9 Hello @silly-sybil welcome to the TT&M Family. You are in good company here; many are not native English speakers. I am one of them 🤭
silly-sybil Posted Tuesday at 06:07 AM Author Posted Tuesday at 06:07 AM thank you both for replying! I'm definitely looking forward to posting some more content – perhaps I could start with taking a look at the drafts I have in my Google Drive. and I'm glad to know that I'm in good company! 🫶🏻
Nemia Posted Tuesday at 07:11 AM Posted Tuesday at 07:11 AM Oh, that's wonderful, another art historian! And studying in Italy! I remember when Giovanna Melandri said that being the Minister of Culture in Italy felt like being the Minister of Oil in Saudi Arabia 😄. Art historical knowledge gives you a very interesting angle on the cards. Welcome to the forum!
Marina Posted Tuesday at 06:30 PM Posted Tuesday at 06:30 PM Welcome @silly-sybil! Happy to have you here and I hope you’ll share your experience with Italian cartomancy with us!
