imo you can never get super exclusive item from *big famous professional publisher like you can find from selfpublisher i'm talking this; https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/119783014/trzes-mamluk-deck luxury edt is only 20 decks created in traditional way! you can't get more historically accurate!:D (& quality must be better than original deck was!^^ lol

 

& I expected from start (& looking forward to) regular (hopefully standard tarot size edt of VM?!:) as it would be much easier to use as my working deck!:)

l received mine Tuesday.  It is everything l thought it would be and for the price incredible.  Looking forward to getting to know it very soon.

I didn't get one at all; it just showed up via DPD today. Just after I had given up for the day, when I found a parcel in the bin, about the right size - and thought wheeeee - and it was toner cartridges ! Mine was the basic pledge; they did say more complicated ones would be later...

I ordered the version which came with the Etteilla which I think is taking longer to ship. It’s very hard to be patient...

They are shipping in different batches depending on what was ordered.  l only ordered the one deck VM so that came sooner.

It will be worth the wait you will not be disappointed.

Oooh, this is lovely.  The box is luscious, black and large, opening up like a cigar box.  The deck is about the size of a brick, and almost as heavy. :)

 

For some reason, I thought the backs would be fancier than this, but on the other hand the gilt fronts are more than fancy on their own.

 

The book is black as well, and hard-bound, looking like a small journal.

 

The wax seal was a surprise.  Was that in the kickstarter?  Oh, the last stretch goal.  Well, it's fancy and nice and makes it feel even more luscious, but totally not necessary.  On the other hand, 'totally not necessary' isn't a bad idea for a stretch goal.

 

I got in for the early bird, and I've got to say, it feels like 40 euros spent well.  I daresay it's also a good 45 euros spent well.

Well, a lot of decks seem that way to me, so I'm hoping that with a little wear they'll be more reasonable.  But, I mostly got them for the historical bling, I'm not expecting to make any readings with it.

 

One problem I've noticed is that the well in the box that fits the cards is a little too snug.

I just saw on Facebook that a great number of people have received decks that has cards missing and/or duplicate cards. I just wanted to mention this so you can double check your decks as you receive them.

Yes, fingers crossed yours are complete. But I’m sure Lo Scarabeo will arrange for replacement cards without any fuss.

That sucks!!  :'( I saw people on Facebook saying that the we’re reaching out to the creators via kickstarter, but I don’t think anyone had gotten a response yet due to it being the weekend. But definitely reach out and let them know, I’m sure they will make it right. And if I hear anything more I will let you know! ((

I was wondering if that would make it easier for Lo Scarabeo to get a better and quicker overview of the situation but I’m not sure. I don’t know how they operate.
