l sent an email to the address gregory gave with no problem, have received an automated email back to let me know they will respond as soon as possible. So l am happy with that.

 

I’m sure either way is fine  :heartz: You will no matter end up with a complete deck plus a bonus card  :thumbsup: It might just take a little while before it’s all fixed.

Had reply in answer to my email today. l have been told to send an email to marketing@loscarabeo.com a  photo of deck and the double up of the 2 Coins.  They will sort it out for me.

What a pain  :(

Had almost instant reply.  They have expressed how deeply sorry they are and will sort this out asap with  further updates for me.  That's really heartening.  l do hope they do not have too many other people with problems.

Well, mine has arrived and I also have duplicate cards - Page of Wands in my case. The backs of several cards are also covered in silver flecks and one has lines from the printing.

 

I was so looking forward to this deck and now I just feel a bit disappointed. :(

They'll fix it, Flaxen. The only time I ever had an issue I got new cards the NEXT DAY - and I had emailed around 4pm. I was hugely impressed !

I’m sure they will, gregory. They’ve always had a good reputation for customer service.

Flaxen: Those specks on the backs seem really common. I don't know if you are a member of the For love of cards group on facebook, but this is being heavily discussed there. Some people have said that they could gently remove those specks by rubbing the card, others say that it seem to be in the lamination. Not sure there. But there are so many that are having issues that I am sure Lo Scarabeo are working hard on fixing this as soon as possible.

 

I saw that one woman wrote on facebook that she had bought 6 copies, thinking that she would only open one. But the people at Lo Scarabeo said that she had to check them all. Unfortunately 5 out of 6 decks were faulty. So there must be a major issue somewhere in their printing/packaging process.  :-\

Actually - yes, I have silver specks. I hadn't even noticed - but I quite like them - they sort of suggest the deck has been used - as it is a sort of repro, that's OK with me Also my backs are some of the variable ones - again, I really don't mind. Are your lines on the BACKS ?

 

I SAID the silver would be a mistake - I'm sure it just got all over the place sort of in the air during the lamination - there's just so MUCH of it !

 

I checked for dupes yesterday - but maybe I need to do it again...

l am still waiting to hear from them about my issue, but if they are having to deal with lots of problems l will bide my time and be patient.

It must be so sad for lo scarabeo that this has happened, they were so proud of this Tarot.

I have some silver speckles on a few of the cards, not a problem for me though.  l just want my 4 of Coins card  :(

Happy to inform my Ettellia pledge arrived today! YeY!(; no shipping note!:) BUT post office didn't bother to open or charge me anything extra so me happy!:)

 

must say I DO like BOTH my decks!:) both seems *right size & feel in RL (lamination is ok for me as it only means I don't need to worry much about messing my deck!^^ lol ) I may even work with them if I learn HOW to (bit harder for Ettellia as guidebook is French! facepalm lol btw are these supposed to be numbered? where exactly?x,x also velvet texture on Ettellia box Exactly what I think would be cool to have for dress texture of these older cards!:) only embossed so it's leveled with card surface!^^(; considering writing review for both soon or should someone more experienced & fluid with English do it?!:)

 

back on VM I have double 4 of cups & male knighf of wands but

I'm missing 6 of cups & male page of wands?!:) facepalm

so maybe we should join that fb grup & start swapping our doubles?:)

 

btw I expected VM back to be plain brown but it seems to be more brownish pattern texture attempt failure?:) also noticed those  *silver dust glitters on back & don't mind these are easy to remove!^^ BUT there seems to be black smudges & white dots smudges as well DON'T try to whipe those as that seems to be lamination issue & will only expose white underneath more!:) don't ask me how I know!^^ facepalm lol

btw I told you Gold back would be better!^^ lol oh, may as well sprinkle those back with glitters CH style & issue solved!^^ lol

 

also I noticed some smudges on 3&4 & female page of coins front background texture?

 

also missing part of lineart for male knight of coins?:)

 

personally I'm ok with all BUT missing cards!^^ lol & only mentioning these *print flaws as pro deformation/ always curious about how big pro publisher do they job so I can *learn & *improve my selfpublishing card quality!^^ lol

& must say I'm surprised EVERY time noticing how far from bad my selfpublished card quality is!^^;) will try to keep up with *not bad in future as well!^^ lol

 

Thoughtful[/member] think LS reply on ks mentioned they will work these doubles & missing cards once they are done with shipping?:) my guess is they are waiting for everyone to receive their decks check & send them our doubles so once those arrive they'll start sending missing cards back to us?;)

I doubt you will have to return doubles to get the correct ones, but they will probably ask for scans. This is too bad for such an anticipated deck.

 

I quit buying Baba decks way back before, but sure felt bad for them when they had so much trouble with the Bohemian ? reprint. There goes any profit.

I'm a bit embarrassed to admit that now I have to figure out how the camera on my phone works so I can send them a legible photo of my duplicates. I'm an old, and I never cared much for taking photos (never owned a camera at all until they became standard issue on phones), so I've never actually used the thing before. Preliminary experiments suggest that I need a lot more light to make the picture come out okay.

Yes, I'm in Denver and have my deck.  Indeed, they just pushed out an update saying that the US has finished shipping.  So, if you haven't seen anything yet, you may want to reach out to them and see what's up .
