Thank you! I look forward to hearing your thoughts. I’ve been seeing your many posts with the White Hare and that deck has been calling to me also.

you could always ask Jacqui if she has any of the larger size White Hare decks left. Maybe she does or maybe she’ll consider reprinting if there is a demand!

I have the Majick Cottage because I couldn’t pass it up on the Kickstarter after seeing the Cornerstone card. 😍 I am mostly concerned about not seeing the images and details well with the smaller deck. The linen card-stock does call to me though. It really is a lot smaller… 😏😊

It is a lot smaller. Which is a good thing if you’re doing larger spreads, but if you only want a one card pull, perhaps to complement a tarot reading - well, then it might feel to small

I did - not until 2025.

I ordered the poker-size! Thank you! 😊

What lovely decks @Raggydoll! So much work went into those images!

Do you think these cards are child friendly? I know my little one would adore these and I wondered about using them together with her. I saw the 'Treasure' card (from the Arboridium deck I think?) on your other thread and noticed the broom with the charms tied to it. As it happens I'm reading her a bedtime story at the moment about a little girl who discovers she's from a witching family and she has just been gifted a broom with charms attached 🥰 Right now my kiddo is tearing around the house riding her toy broom with a charm she's tied on herself, and a stuffed black cat is sitting in a bag hanging off the handle 😂

I think it would work well for children, these decks are built on books that I believe are targeted for a younger audience. So far I have not come across anything that could upset a child, on the contrary. And my children likes the artwork too!

Disclaimer: I’m not a parent. I could imagine the cards work well with children. The booklet doesn’t just give meanings, but instead it’s a short story for each card. I find the stories very well thought out. I have the first two decks, probably will need to buy this one too.

This pamphlet was included in my package. It speaks of the next deck that she’s working on! I think it sounds interesting and there seem to be a different theme for each deck, which is something I like!

Just got my first new deck in YEARS!  I was just pretty happy with what I had and not a collector, but now that I have two cats....🐱🐱

I received Tarot of Pagan Cats today.  LOVE IT.  I got the borderless because an easy read with enough RWS symbolism if you know how to read RWS.

I would have gotten it when it first came out if not for the borders, I prefer borderless anyway, but the borderless...sigh.

FIRST impressons.  OK, just a regular tuck box, no biggie as I will put it in a purple case 🙂

LOVE the CARDSTOCK, perfect to me, good shuffler, I even love the papery smell of the cardstock, now for the images, I think better in person than what I saw online, and easy to follow even without titles if you are really familiar with RWS.  It has just enough RWS symbolism to be an easy read, but it's like RWS if a cat did the images 🙂

The borderless just SO pops for me, I shall be edging it with a Ranger ink to match the purple shade of the backs (don't have a ton of decks but I ACCESSORIZE and DRESS EM UP!)

IF I would have done one thing differently, I would have LIKED the titles on the Majors.  I can easily read without them, just aesthetically like how it looks, but still give this deck a TEN.

Sooo... I bought a copy of Smoke, Ash and Embers (from Three Trees Tarot) as a birthday present for my mum, she was born in a dragon year and she collects dragons. She loves them.

But, whoops, uh oh...!! It seems like my finger slipped during the shopping process and a copy of Oak, Ash and Thorn arrived as well?? Ah well, looks like it's here to stay now! 😅

It's stunning. Everything is so beautifully packaged and thought out, and a great deal of love went into these cards. The card stock is smooth matte, and fairly substantial so not particularly flexible. The illustrations are just gorgeous. A degree of thought on interpretation needs to go into some of the cards, but certainly not so much that it's a block at all. The deck follows the RWS system.

Several lifetimes ago, ie before Covid, the Light Seers Tarot was teasing and tempting me. After a year or so, it was a purchase, but I never really read or studied it. Before going to my local Tarot conference NWTS I visited each deck to see which should be passed on at our trade table. This time, like last year, the deck said that it belongs with me, just biding it’s time. Our first keynote speaker was Chris-Anne, talking about the liminal spaces between us as readers and the questioner.  An amazing talk, she said how when creating each card in the Light Seer, she had a mantra permeating her thoughts, of healing and how the cards would heal. Then when only partially complete, she had a creative imperative to do The Muse Tarot, much lighter and completed it before returning to the Light Seers. This coincidence as well as the healing mantra had me purchasing The Muse Tarot which just arrived.

The box is the same size as the Light Seer’s, with pastel colors. Cards a smooth, thick and the back is pastel with roses rather than black with an 18 point star. The cards are mostly all feminine, and I am playing to see how they will work with the Light Seer’s.  Will add pics next as on my phone and dont know how to resize on it.

This year is the year of the Chariot for me, and my birth card is the Lovers, and Shadow card The devil.  The Lovers are standing apart, with body parts in foreground, with the lotus flower The lovers are looking downward, with a red aura halo surrounding them, musing , The Devil card shows the same lovers, blindfolded, separated by a lake or lava, the devil behind over a passageway leading in and down, and in the foreground, underground, a fairy with wings, arms crossed, lace and black.  The Queen of Inspiration was the card given to me during the class, and the 9 of Materials , roses, the card I drew tonight.

TheMuseTarot3.thumb.jpg.178a3232a90d9d255c9f2c777842bf9f.jpg

The back of The Muses Tarot is light, pastel, with a rosette center.  The back of the Light Seer's Tarot is black, with a star center, looking more like an eye or vision than the rosette.  The lovers are quite different, very separate and contemplative in the Muse and passionate with movement in the Light Seer's.

Today I received The Star Seeker Oracle

It is a nicely done and of course pairs with her tarot deck. The cards appear to not have nearly as much texture going on as the tarot deck does which, for me, is disappointing as that was a major reason I liked her Tarot deck so much. There is some, but not that much. The cards aren’t too thick, and riffle shuffle nicely, are clumpy on the overhand. They are a soft touch, but smooth at the same time. They feel good. The guidebook is 85 pages. There are three groups of cards: The Journey, The Guides, and The Gifts. I am looking forward to working with the deck.

I received my Autumn Miss Tarot deck last week, but have been too busy to post about it, so here it is:

It's exactly what I wanted, though was definitely on the pricier side when shipping was factored in.  It's a shame, because I think I would probably buy a lot more from this company if I had the money to spend.  As it stands, their autumn theme deck is definitely my favourite of their four seasons set.  Above is the deck interview I did, which is "who are you, who am I, what are you here to teach me?"

I also wanted to mention the extra inclusion that came with this deck.  I will see you for a deck-identifying lightning round in the appropriate thread.

I received the Wisdom of Pooh Tarot this week and I'm so happy with it!

This was a kickstarter deck and I went for the Mini Size in a tin deck (largely because of the price) and I was worried I would find it rather small, but it turns out that its the perfect size for my little (often sore) hands! The artwork is amazing and is wonderfully true to that which E. H. Shepard made for A. A. Milne's stories. I haven't done a lot of reading with it yet, but what I have done has been surprisingly easy to read and fairly balanced. The deck reads neither too positive or too negative for me so far. This might be the nature of the readings I've done though. But yeah, I love it and I wanted to share it with you here. This mini version doesn't come with a Guidebook, but does come with some keyword cards. There's also four extra majors which are quite nice (although I don't think that they are strictly necessary in a tarot deck that is largely based off the RWS).

There's going to be a book published soon, a deep dive into the wisdom of pooh tarot which I'll probably get on kindle as it seems interesting from the publicity I've seen. I will definitely be backing the second edition which will be similar but contain Tigger as well! (Tigger was added later and so his copyright ended later than that of the rest of the characters.)

Here's a few pictures for you to enjoy.

Received the Citadel Oracle limited edition (after almost 2 months, 5 weeks of which was waiting for Liminal 11 to ship it). The delay was worth it for me, but if you want a limited ed. from their site, you may want to order well in advance if you need it by a specific date, because I'm not the only one with a long wait time.)

Inkwright.jpg.a828a4c455a285fc47a903bcc5b37941.jpg

The ltd. ed. includes a second 'Emblems' deck that isn't selling separately at the moment, and an rpg campaign I'm looking forward to playing solo. The booklets have imaginative vignettes of the characters that live in the Citadel and make up the deck. Even the outside of the box packaging was lovingly created by Fex Inkwright, and the cards look even better in person than online. Cardstock feels a little like poster board, but I'll deal.

My unboxing:

Hello ! The other day I finally received a Tarot deck that I invented myself (exclusively for myself). It is collected from my favorite cards from different Tarot decks. I plan to use it permanently for personal use only.

That's so cool. It would also be a fantasy project for me to do this---but i don't have the time or skills to actually DO it. Congrats. I think it will be a blast to read with. Did you print with Gamecrafters? Or?

Thank you!

Yes, the deck “responds” very well because it completely resonates with me (every card).

I printed this deck at MakePlayingCards.com (quality of the cards is excellent!)

Had a good time trying to identify some of the cards in your deck @SilverFox. You simply can't beat the classics. I can see the Thoth, Sola Busca, Ferenc Pinter, Visconti Sforza, Sopraffino, Marseille, Wild Unknown, and Giotto/Dante. The others I'll have to determine by reverse image search lol.
