What is your favourite card?

My favorites are Shadowscapes’ Star card (and World, but image limit), Numinous’ Emperor, and Tyldwick’s Emperor. The first two images are from the artist’s websites, the last is from TarotCake’s blog.

Sorry for the large images, it wouldn’t let me resize them in the editor.

Right now, it's this card from the Incubus Tarot. It looks so atmospheric and beautiful to me! But I also really like The Star from this deck.

The High Priestess for me.
I love the silence in that card. There’s something powerful about knowledge that isn’t loud.

My favourite majors are Temperance and the Empress in RWS decks, and Art, the Star and Lust in the Thoth.

My favourite minors are the Three of Cups and Nine of Pentacles. These are cards I'm always drawn to.

My favourite court cards are the Princess of Disks and Queen of Cups.

When choosing a deck, I'll also have a look at the Emperor, Death and the Hierophant. I like my Emperor to have not only authority but also warmth, my Death to carry a glimmer of hope and transition, and my Hierophant to have some depth, not only dogma.

THIS.

Knowledge that isn't loud - like the the unravelling occult path travelled in silence, & in ones own time.

Comfortable with her own company, communing with the stars & interceding between man and Deity.

Recently - a friend said this to me about a photograph she saw of me in a Star Trek outfit:

"On your Star Trek adventures!

By day, you vibe with the village - chatting with trees, catching whispers on the wind.

By night, you send messages to the sky with nothing but muddy boots and moonlight. That Star Trek outfit?

It's not just for show... it's got country magic stitched right in."

It just occurred to me - that I also like this, because it is describing The Priestess.

Ha... 🤔
