HermitWriter Posted June 22, 2019 Posted June 22, 2019 Good morning tarot fam! I was wondering: have any of you been to the Morgan Library and Museum in New York City to see the Visconti-Sforza cards held there? If so, are they viewable to the general public, or do special arrangements need to be made to see them? Thanks in advance!
Guest Posted June 30, 2019 Posted June 30, 2019 (edited) Found some info here, but I couldn't access the database to see if the deck is indeed in it, or rather on display somewhere in the library. Probably you need to apply. Edited June 30, 2019 by Guest
HermitWriter Posted July 1, 2019 Author Posted July 1, 2019 Thank you for the info @mrpants! I won't be there on a weekday anytime soon, but if they are on public display I'll update this post.
HermitWriter Posted July 12, 2019 Author Posted July 12, 2019 Update: I emailed the Morgan Library and unfortunately the cards are not currently on public display. They can only be viewed for research purposes via an appointment. Oh well!
