My primary deck is the Brepols-pattern, currently published by Carta Mundi as Jeu Lenormand.

It contains the beautiful Belle Époque scenes with landscapes that link important cards. Personally, the verses have neither troubled nor distracted me (you can get a verse-less version). Directionally, few patterns come as close to it in terms of consistency.

It is not, however, my favourite individual pattern.

Thanks Andy! I will list it as Carta Mundi (Brepols) Lenormand; I have the Brepols too!

I love the Celtic Lenormand. Its my go to deck for Lenny's. Actually, I just ordered the Trick or Treat Lenormand and super excited for it to arrive.

Hello and welcome @Ziev

It's duly noted for the Celtic Lenormand, and hope that you'll love the Trick and Treat too!

From the list (as it is now) it appears that people don't really focus on a particular type of Lenormand (actually it seems pretty shared between modern and historical decks).

The Dondorf Lenormand is a bit less mentioned than I thought, and the Blue Owl more. The Gilded Reverie slightly stand out too.

You still have 2 weeks for voting for your favourite Lenormand deck(s), from 1 to 3.

The 3 first decks on the list win their own tag!!

I find that 2 of my picks match @DanielJUK😀

Pixie’s Astounding  Lenormand—felt comfortable and familiar when I was starting with Lenormands

Titania’s Fortune Cards—small, colorful, images like photographic negatives

Burning Serpent Oracle—Robert M. Place is one of my favorite artists of all time!

Thanks, this is fun!

@WooMonkey thanks!

And the Pixie’s Astounding  Lenormand and Titania’s Fortune Cards make a big step forward!

In case we will have an ex aequo for the first position I'll take this into account!

Hi guys!

The week to come will be the very last if you want to vote here; after that you can't with regard to the list in the first post but it still will be a good thread to say what Lenormand decks are your among favourite.

Hope that this thread will bring more interest on Lenormand on the forum, it was my goal here! 💙

Hi and welcome @Lucifall !

Yeah this one is a very nice oracle (and I have it!!), but unfortunately it isn't a petit Lenormand deck which is a little deck of 36 cards.

In that case my favorite is petit Lenormand, Jeu de cartes divinatoire d'apres la methode admirablement simplifee de Mlle Lenormand/ Grimaud 1976.

I took a look at that deck and it seems the Astro-mythological or Grand Lenormand in a pocket and shorter version, but it isn't the classical petit Lenormand I'm afraid 😕

Below is a pic/example of a petit Lenormand deck (actually the Dondorf):

Hey Decan;  I just thought of another deck that I wish was on the list, and I hope someone else (bc I've listed my 3) will be inspired to name the Alone's Vision or Alone's Lenormand, as it seems to be called now on the Russian sites.  Just want to give it an honorable mention as it was my first deck (w the floral backs).

Okay Bastetly, yes for an honourable mention! And the back is really lovely!!

But yes I checked and you already voted for 3 decks so for a 4th it's impossible unfortunately, except if you change one of your previous choices for this one! Still possible!

Classification of the Lenormand decks:

#1 Blue Owl (Blaue Eule) Lenormand (x5)

#2 Gilded Reverie Lenormand (x4)

#3 Dondorf Lenormand (x3)

This makes good enough sense. Two standard decks, and Ciro's, which is somewhat embellished but not too wonky to be used. Good choices.
I'm a little surprised that the Dondorf wasn't at 1 or 2, as well. Maybe not everyone has a regular Lenormand-sized version?
I'd have personally named Rana's as the #1 contemporary Lenormand. The Black Hand deserves mention, too, but it's not always available. https://fennario.wordpress.com/2015/09/19/deck-review-black-hand-lenormand/

But all in all, good choices for the top three.

Guys, you won't believe it! Possibly some spiritual protectors of deck-diversity are there behind the scene, because we have now 9 decks among the top 3 (because of the exaequo decks!) 😲

You can still make this "weird situation" change before the deadline (or not!) it’s up to you guys! The power is in your hands with your votes!! 😀

It's still open? Put me down for Dondorf, Wust, and Daveluy!

#3-exaequo Piatnik Lenormand (x3)

That is it guys, the period limit for the votes has been exceeded and the final results are above!!

No real surprise but 2 ex-aequo decks on the first and third position.

Classical decks dominate with the exception of the Gilded Reverie Lenormand, which shares the first position with the Blue Owl Lenormand. It's something a bit unconventional somehow.

As well the Dondorf Lenormand isn't on the first position (I thought it will be, but no), nevertheless on the 2nd it's pretty honest!!

A warm thanks to all of the members who participated in this thread, each of the favourite decks you mentioned are listed and they all are winners! 💚🧡

As promised I added tags for the 3 first decks (here 5 finally) as rewards!

I find the Whisper Lenormand not bad at all for a "modern" Lenormand, (well, not historical it's what I mean). Not for me maybe (because I have enough Lenormand I think) but I would like to mention it, actually it reminds me a bit the Alone's Lenormand.

I took a (quick) look at the cards and don't think that they are wonky with regard to their essential meanings, it's an important point to check.

I had a look - the Roads/Paths branch down and the Mice might be squirrels? (they're in a tree) And there's a broom on the Whips card, that's a peeve of mine.
But it looks OK to use. Even a lot of the older decks have a wonky card or two.

It occurs to me that I've never had to explain to anyone that the Rider does NOT mean "she's going in circles" because somebody got that impression from Ciro's Rider. So apparently people ARE learning the meanings. :)

Hmm, mice in a tree, indeed, this is a bit wonky I recognize, and I didn’t see the broom too. 🥺
