Ninalii Posted August 27, 2019 Posted August 27, 2019 Hi everyone! I´m a working mum from Finland, and a big beginner with tarot. I bought my first tarot deck a very long time ago. I have read a few books and trying to figure out the language of tarot, got stuck and then the deck has been in the drawer for a while until I start over. So now I have started over once again 😃 I was a member at the AT-forum until it shut down. At this point I´m just trying to learn the cards meaning and then getting stuck because I can´t link together one card with the next one in a reading. I think it´s best to just try to figure out the card´s meaning and then maybe later on I can make a fluent reading. Most of the time I just do a 3-card reading so that it won´t get too difficult for me, and then reflect back what the card may have meant to tell me. At the moment I have two decks, the Archeon tarot deck and Mystic Dreamer Tarot. Usually I use my Archeon deck, feels like I know it better.
Raggydoll Posted August 27, 2019 Posted August 27, 2019 Welcome! Nice to meet you! You might want to check out our mentoring program. It’s free and pretty amazing 😊 There you could get some one-on-one tutoring on the things you find to be trickiest with tarot. Just a tip 😉
Ninalii Posted August 27, 2019 Author Posted August 27, 2019 Thank you both! I will certainly do that, @Raggydoll! I noticed the Beginners sign-up when I first looked around the forum, and that´s great that someone very smart came up with this idea, and that there are so many mentors who are willing to give their time to us beginners 🤗 I just have to figure out the forum first and then I will sign up!
LoveLightPeace Posted August 27, 2019 Posted August 27, 2019 Hi and welcome to TT&M @Ninalii! So glad that you decided to join us. You picked a great place to continue on your tarot journey. Looking forward to seeing you around the forum. 🙂
Ninalii Posted August 27, 2019 Author Posted August 27, 2019 Thank you! It feels nice working with the cards again after a veeery long paus...
McFaire Posted August 29, 2019 Posted August 29, 2019 I agree, smaller readings are better especially in the beginning. And very specific questions. Welcome!
