Only French, as far as I know. But it's okay, Andy B's work is the business and his site is accessible again. https://circlestead.com/

Sadly, none of Madame Silvestre’s works have been translated. From previous discussions and enquiries, it is unlikely any will be.
Decan Posted July 2, 2021 Posted July 2, 2021 (edited) For people who want to use a book by Colette Silvestre you can buy a copy in French and translate the book with an online translator, it's something possible. But most of her books are OOP now, while still available on the second hand market generally, so be careful and don't wait too long, because at some point her books (or a particular book) won't be available anymore I think, or pricey. As well note that her daughter (Karine Silvestre) wrote books on cartomancy, I haven't any of them, but read one or two previews in the past, and it's more "pathworking, angels and chakras" if I can say, not the same than her mother. Colette Silvestre is more on the fortune telling side, integrating often a bit of basic psychology. Timtoldrum is better placed than me to say what particular book(s) could be worth though. Indeed. I lost one of her Belline books, which I had used when first starting working with that deck. I managed to acquire a copy for €30 but new was more than double. Madame Silvestre authored just one volume on the Petit Lenormand — Le Petit Lenormand. It is my favourite book. One of her students has written a series on the cards, which is more or less a transcription of the book: http://aladiah.over-blog.com/article-29016511.html. I am posting only because I know it was reported and no action taken. Silvestre also wrote a book on the Grand Jeu and also included the Grand Jeu in her Grand livre des jeux de cartes et de Tarots. The Petit Lenormand is not included in that volume.
Decan Posted July 2, 2021 Posted July 2, 2021 (edited) I took a quick look on Amazon and I found that there are more available titles than I thought, and her book on the Petit Lenormand is available. She really wrote many books, likely those with sets come from previous editions but redesigned and updated. Edited July 2, 2021 by Decan

However I admire her work and she was a big part of my development. If you want a deep course on esotericism then Madame Silvestre will be found lacking. If, however, you are simply interested in practical day-to-day divination then her work is to be appreciated. I purchased a new Belline deck last year. It was cheaper to purchase a book and card set. The set came with her text. Her Tarot Persan book was repackaged, too.
