Request for Clarification

Hi, when the rules mention that you must have atleast 5 posts to enroll for the student program, does that mean 5 original topics (like this one) or even comments to other people's post is counted as well? Just seeking clarification. Thank you in advance.

I'm no mod, but in my experience, it was 5 posts anywhere, either original topics or as replies to existing threads.

I did find though, that once I had 5 posts I still couldn't access parts of the forum, still getting the "you need 5 posts' message... but a 6th post did the trick and opened all that up for me.

Is there a way to be notified when it opens up?  I reeeeally wanna get in on that mentorship program, I'm starting to feel like I'm not as capable as I thought with the tarot (which makes sense I've only been at this a few weeks) and I really wanna get a better handle on what I'm doing.

You can always send a pm to @Saturn Celeste and then she can reply to that pm when she’s ready to open the mentoring up again.

I have a question, where can I ask someone to write about my card spread that was done by my beginner friend that is still not very familiar with tarot cards.

As I believe if I try to do it myself, I might see what I want to see, not how it actually is.

Looked through everywhere, can't find a place where to ask. :x

First you need to have 6 posts.  You have one already.  Then you can post your question and reading in this section.

We tend to discourage people from doing this, out of respect to fellow readers. But if the reader in question is a friend and they agree to have their interpretations discussed publicly then that would be fine. In this case @Ingrida also wrote “As I believe if I try to do it myself, I might see what I want to see, not how it actually is”. And to me that implies that they did this together and that it’s her own thoughts and interpretations we will be discussing. 

 

@Ingrida just don’t forget that you need to provide your own interpretations for every card that you are asking about and that you need to give elaborate feedback to everyone that helps you out. You can check out how others do it or ask a moderator if you are unsure. I also just saw that @Saturn Celeste provided you with the wrong link. Your thread need to go in this area when you have the required minimum posts:
