Rose Lalonde Posted January 10, 2020 Posted January 10, 2020 (edited) Publisher is Magical Omaha. With full size companion book that is the same content as the original edition. Thanks, @DDwarks, for verifying that. DuQuette posted about it on fb, so it's legit. $56.99 though, and with a sizeable shipping charge if you're not in the US, but thought I'd pass along in case anyone is eyeing a more expensive sale of the long OOP edition. EDIT: @FLizarraga pointed out that when you sign up for Magical Omaha emails, you get 20% off your first purchase. It's HERE. Edited January 12, 2020 by Rose Lalonde
xTheHermitx Posted January 10, 2020 Posted January 10, 2020 yep...got it. This is going to be awesome!! Thanks for the info
Rose Lalonde Posted January 10, 2020 Author Posted January 10, 2020 @xTheHermitx please let us know what you think if you get a chance. 🙂I'd be interested to know what the card stock is like on this edition.
DDwarks Posted January 10, 2020 Posted January 10, 2020 I already have it but would love the book! I'm hoping it can be bought separately.
FLizarraga Posted January 12, 2020 Posted January 12, 2020 Thanks for this, RL! I have been wanting this deck for a LONG time now. The (relative) good news is, when you sign up for emails at the Magical Omaha site, you get 20% off your first purchase.

FLizarraga Posted January 12, 2020 Posted January 12, 2020 (edited) On the other hand, there is this posting on Amazon USA: https://www.amazon.com/Tarot-Ceremonial-Magick-Next-Millennium/dp/0578483793/ref=wl_mb_wl_huc_mrai_1_dp?ie=UTF8&pd_rd_i=0578483793&pd_rd_r=DFKYP46HCQCXNAFVJ8E7&pd_rd_w=tR7mO&pd_rd_wg=qSQU4&pf_rd_p=eef9c7bd-10f9-4dd2-8aa3-f83976b6a214&pf_rd_r=DFKYP46HCQCXNAFVJ8E7 It's only the deck for $44.99 shipped in the USA. It also seems legit (there is a review posted by Duquette himself, apparently). If it's legit, I might just buy the deck. I already have the book and don't need another copy, unless there are changes. That would be good to know. Edited January 12, 2020 by FLizarraga

You can still buy the previous edition on Amazon and AbeBooks, and probably other places. Of course it would be good to know if Duquette made any changes to the new edition.
Rose Lalonde Posted January 12, 2020 Author Posted January 12, 2020 Just now, FLizarraga said: On the other hand, there is this posting on Amazon USA... Good link. I'm in New Zealand, so no dice for me. I was actually considering this as a surprise gift for a friend who's wanted the deck, but from Magical Omaha, even with 20% off it's $85 US with overseas shipping, and that's $128 NZ. I guess need to consider how good of a friend this person is. 😉

gregory Posted January 12, 2020 Posted January 12, 2020 The listing says: Quote and features colorful updates. He has posted his own review of himself (well, posted Jensen's from when the deck came out) and given himself 5 stars. NOT OK - I thought amazon didn't let you do that any more. TACKY.
DDwarks Posted January 12, 2020 Posted January 12, 2020 Email sent. I'll let you know when I get a reply.

gregory Posted January 12, 2020 Posted January 12, 2020 The big difference looks to be the bright green borders (Just comparing images on line.)
DDwarks Posted January 12, 2020 Posted January 12, 2020 Email came back as email address on the website isn't valid anymore! Anyone wants the valid one, it's cindy@magicalomaha.com

I have lived in this country 25 years, and it still makes me uncomfortable.
gregory Posted January 12, 2020 Posted January 12, 2020 I did think amazon had banned self-reviews though. And fair enough - post Jensen, who did indeed like the deck - but do NOT give yourself 5 stars.
Marigold Posted January 12, 2020 Posted January 12, 2020 (edited) Apart from people who buy this deck for collection purposes, do people who read with it and use it usually practice ceremonial magic(k) ? Edited January 12, 2020 by Marigold
gregory Posted January 12, 2020 Posted January 12, 2020 (edited) I have read with it, but not recently. Now you mention it, I shall use it for my next exercise. But no, I don't practise the magick. Edited January 12, 2020 by gregory
DDwarks Posted January 12, 2020 Posted January 12, 2020 (edited) I've just heard back and the book is like the original from 1995. Nothing added. Edited January 12, 2020 by DDwarks
