You could find the photos on a free source like Pixabay.com and come up with the layout. I'd be happy to assemble them in Photoshop to the best of my ability. Just want to put that offer out there. This picture is absolutely amazing! I admire your art more than I can express!!

He is AWESOME! Love all the color! You can see his youth and inexperience and his connection to the fire element. You can see his intensity even in his inexperience.

Thanks, having some nose issues, not sure I can resolve them so ....... will keep trying. But other than the nose I am pleased so far. We have several people who have offered to help us out with digital enhancements/tweaks so let me know if you want to try that once you’re done. And the same goes for everyone else!

I think you probably just want a little highlighting on the center (bridge) on her. Try this if you want to: take one of your lighter "flesh" tone pencils (light peach or creme, if you have them) and in a small circular motion, with light-ish pressure, go down the center of the nose from between the eyes to the tip. Use the circular motions to blend the edges with the darker color. That should make it less smudgy looking. I really like her - she's coming out great!!!

I think I already have too much pigment on her, but will try this next week when I get back to coloring her. This is as far as I think I am going to get today - got all the way to the Paua shell inlays on the cup, and of course once I get the whole thing colored I will be going back to tweak (aka probably ruining her do to not knowing when to stop 😆😞. Still debating on what I want to do with her little earring loops but that is a minor thing. Thinking of making the cup wood as she is earth of water ... still debating that too. @geoxenaluckily there is someone that can work digital magic and fix her nose if I can't so I am just moving on to do my best. Oh never mind me - I'm too much of a busybody sometimes! She's lovely with her nose just as it is. I am really liking the blue you added, and the little fish looking up at her! Isn't it great when you get to the point where you can see something tangible coming alive from what was only in your imagination before?

Your comments and suggestions are always welcome where my art is concerned! very helpful tips, so thank you! and I can see the nose, and it is a hot mess on her face! 😆, but as noted there is a "magician" that can digitally fix her if I can't, so I decided to not loose sleep (or rip her up) and I am going to continue moving along and stay optimistic and creative. As for your question ... yes and no Yes because I love color, no because it still looks way better in my head ... my talent has just not caught up with my conceptual mind. I do like the fish, he came out pretty good, I think he is talking to her, reminding her to never forget that she is of the water 😜

DevonCarter Posted January 25, 2020 Posted January 25, 2020 Wow everyone's art is so different but great! This is going to be an awesome deck. I've gotten as far as sketching a thumbnail and finding some references, and then realized my Saturday will be pretty busy. I hope to get started on a real sketch this weekend, still. I have an an idea for another card, too, but I doubt it'll still be available by the time I get this one done. If so, once this ones complete I might draw a card and try doing whichever one comes up that's still available at that point. It'll be a good way to push myself a little.

I've been away for quite a number of weeks but hopefully I'm back online for the long haul now! Either way, I will diligently work on my card -Justice. I received it a lot in some major readings the past month and I feel now's a perfect time to connect with it, and in such a perfect way as making art! Using you guys and your amazing pieces as inspirations, I'm gonna hunker down and do some research tonight to really give me a clear image of what I want to portray. An absolutely lovely idea this all is, thank you so much to everyone organizing and participating! A very neat project to come back to after my hiatus!

Well, who knows.. during a reading, she might! 😊 I just placed an order for more charcoal pens, erasers and paper stomps. I still have a pretty good stash of everything else. But I did treat myself to a new art portfolio. I have one in a3 but I have been wanting a smaller one so I purchased one in a4 size. I already had archival art sleeves so it didn’t end up that expensive. Since I plan on creating my own deck now, I will really need proper storage. 78 drawings will take up a bit of space 🙂
