So, tarot is trending, huh?

I guess youngsters these days love the occult.

Am I a youngster at 26? :P

Witchcraft is very in at the moment too so it makes sense that tarot is getting popular - the two are often linked or mentioned together (of course not every tarot reader is a witch or vice versa) but I don't know which was gathering steam before the other. I started getting into tarot because I was researching witchcraft some years ago!

Ah, the Christian Dior Resort 2018 Collection. Pics in THIS LINK. Check out Looks 1, 33, 37, 39, 77, 78, 80. Pics courtesy of banbha.

It does look smashing. I never thought the Motherpeace would ever figure in haute couture.

Love it.  If I was a designer I would incorporate prints based on the Haindl tarot  ;D......Northstar

Great. I've always prided myself on being an outlier. Now I'm part of the latest "trending" thing. Well, fortunately many people will move on and there will soon be an influx of barely used decks showing up in the used-book stores. ;D

It does occur to me that much of the Tarot becoming part of the Latest Thing, is because people are so dissatisfied with the people who are running things. Religion isn't satisfying them and the "status quo" is getting scary. So, they're searching for things that can satisfy their spiritual need. I do remember many years ago some articles in the popular press and/or TV news about how much church attendance was down back then. That was due, if I remember correctly from the commentary, because the world was scary and organized religion wasn't really giving people the answers they sought. I guess it's still going on ...

Ooh, let's hope so! Unfortunately, they probably won't be those out of print decks I'm longing for...

Hey, not bad! I'd like to use a Scapini deck if I were to create fashion pieces tho. :D
