I've gotten behind in my write-ups the past couple of days as well! Still drew my cards, and I plant to catch up tomorrow ๐Ÿ™‚ Hope everyone had a wonderful Solstice weekend ๐Ÿ’›

Me too, behind in typing it up. I find the cards I draw are rather strange this year..... Will have to take some time to go over it......

I'm super behind now as have had such a busy week at work and weekend with the solstice, but I have drawn my cards. Need to catch up today too!

Iโ€™ve managed to keep on top of it so far but as Iโ€™m just starting a cycle of โ€˜30 days with the Moonโ€™ too itโ€™s going to feel a bit more squeezed for the last few days.ย
ย

The Stolen Child was a good choice in the end - Iโ€™m finding the images very evocative and surprisingly easy to read.ย

Happy belated Solstice, everyone!

I have been pulling cards every day, but have been so busy that I haven't been able to type them up. I feel so behind! But it's been really lovely doing it. I've been using the We Are One deck and this has been a fun way to get to know the deck.

Oh, deer! Yesterday I suddenly realised I had totally forgotten about this reading and I was so looking forward to it. So I jumped up, took my cards and got on with it. I had a lot of catching up to do, but it was worth it. So insightful already. Thank you for the initiative, @RavenOfSummer

ย

@legendaryelement,ย  I love the idea of the Dixit-cards. So you use them as some sort of oracle? The cards are so beautiful.

So interesting when that happens. I've had that during Sacred Days of Yule in a previous year. I was talking to my husband about another reading recently, and how a card I'd drawn was not what I expected, and then I thought, "Well, if I always got the card I expected to draw, I wouldn't learn anything." So maybe that's the case for you- I hope the reading gives you what you need ๐Ÿ’›

I'm glad you've been able to keep up with your draws! I also fell behind with doing Solstice things over the weekend. I've caught up tonight but may add a bit more to my write-ups of the last few cards.

Great time of year to have a very full tarot practice! ๐Ÿ’› I have been LOVING your interpretations of the Stolen Child along with the Druid deck. I've been working a bit with the Stolen Child for other readings the past couple of weeks and have been finding it so powerful. I agree with you too- I wasn't sure how it would read since a lot of the images are non-traditional, but I also find it surprisingly easy!

No worries, Endy, just glad you're here and that you've been able to keep up with pulling your cards! Some years are tougher than others keeping up with the write-ups, but the most important thing is the experience of the reading ๐Ÿ’› You can always catch up typing up your interpretations.

Hi @Ealasaid Enfys, so glad you're here with us and that you were able to catch up on your reading! No worries about forgetting- hopefully if you enjoy the experience this year it can become a part of your regular practice to do this reading each year, and of course there is the Sacred Days of Yule reading at the time of the Winter Solstice as well ๐Ÿ™‚

Ealasaid Enfys, I use many โ€œgameโ€ and trading/collectible card sets as oracles. Neopets, Bella Sara, etc. I have even made color oracles from the paint sample cards in stores like Ace Hardware, HomeDepot, & Loweโ€™s.

It's hard to believe we have reached the end of our Sacred Days journey together. I just pulled my last card and added a picture of the whole reading; I'm preparing to go on a trip (locally, and with social distance!) shortly so will spend more time writing up my last card and looking at the overall reading later today and tomorrow.

ย

I hope that this journey has been special for everyone, and that it has helped to create sacred time in your life at this time of year. I know that's how it has felt for me, and a huge part of that has been the sharing of this journey together. Thank you, I have so much gratitude for you all! ๐Ÿ’›

ย

If you're still writing up your reading (like me!) please continue to take the time you need, and to discuss your reading and experience here. As I said I will still be spending time in our reading threads and with my cards over the next days! Blessings to all, and have a wonderful and sacred summer ๐ŸŒž

Thank you! And yes if we knew it, then we would not even have to draw..... so true!!! Still working on my typing it all up, will hopefully post it all on Monday. I want to take a bit more time and go a bit deeper into some of the cards I drew.

ย

Blessings to you too and have a wonderful and sacred summerย
