I took a chance and ordered the Deleted World Tarot which should be here...sometime. Maybe. They took the money. It's not OOP just yet but it certainly does take them a hella long time to get things around. Also, for something different and because it was my birthday, I ordered Maia Toll's Wold Wisdom Collection (oracle). Also, some random thing I thought looked like fun despite some of the reviews claiming it looked like AI slop. I couldn't find enough images to confirm their opinions. It might just be digital slop and not at all AI. 🤣🤣

Alright, from what I am gathering, it appears that any section that you have to be a member of the forum to see will NOT have the share option available. This makes sense, as the share button's main focus is for sharing content on social media. For sharing with other members, the right-click and copy link on the date of the forum is the best and easiest way to go about things. :)

There are others, as Danial has pointed out. I think everything in the Reiki and healing forum, for instance. Every thread in Fun and Games that I've checked. Actually I suspect everything in the subscribers areas

Could I have a link to the threads, please? Disregard; Daniel linked them to me elsewhere. So Sharing is still enabled on those subforums, which is weird.

identify the game - top right doesn't show it where it should. : For comparison, this one does: The one I first noted yesterday was the adverse reactions to reiki thread in Reiki and healing. I looked at a couple of others in that subforum and they don't have it either. You can use the workaround Dan mentioned - but still.

I've gone through every single forum and sub-forum and they all have sharing on. Can you link the threads having the issues for investigation?

Welcome to the community @perseph glad you found us here along with your cats 😃 I can't pick one deck and it changes monthly! My go to, regularly changes 🤣 About the forum, you will be able to access the reading and exchange areas when you get to 5 posts. So post around the place and other intro threads and you will soon get there. Then you can offer readings for others, get help with a reading and join in our monthly exchanges where we all read for each other, if you wish to join then .

I actually love his books. I’m reading Tree of Life and How to Read Tarot right now. I’m in the mystery school he founded called Builders of the Adytum (B.O.T.A). It teaches esoteric knowledge, personal and spiritual growth, knowledge of the Tarot as a tool for enlightenment and Kabbalah, as well. ETA you can purchase Case’s books from the BOTA website to ensure you’re getting his actual writings. https://storebota.org/collections/english

Mister replied to Ferrea's topic in Lenormand
Hi @Ferrea I'd say have a go and see what it does for you. If it gives you more grip on your reads, that's what matters. Chances are there'll be a takeaway to the exploration making it worthwhile, maybe you'll even stick with it. It is the same reason why some like to give their rows a certain meaning, be that by incorporation of houses, giving meaning to certain sections of the tableau, or ordering it in a timely manner - it does make sense to use if it gives more grip on the read and that's why some use it. And some don't want to do without and use two packs of lenormands to lay a 3x3 in order to use houses in their read. It has precedence: The use of two pack Tarock's/Jass for example, or the use of Triumphs and Suits as two sepearate packs, one clarifying the other. Or a pack of tarots with an oracle-overlay. Even using the arkana/suits/both and then placing runes thereon for further detail or pairing astrology with cards is based on the same principle. Maybe to Pitisci-People it can be put under 'clever ways to incorporate conceptual blending'. It is also the same reason why some like to give their rows no meaning or 'observe the cards naturally' - it does make sense if it gives more grip. There's anotherone: "grip" is what I like to use, others may prefer "insight". Or "precision". Or "accuracy". While they are not the same, the sentiment linking them likely is.

Hi everyone! So happy to join such a friendly and wonderful tarot community. I'm a beginner, but I've got the basics down and really want to dive deeper into tarot. I've been searching around online for good places to learn, and that's how I found TT&M. I'm really looking forward to growing with all of you in this warm group – I'm sure I will!🥰

For some bizarre reason, the update absolutely borked thread sharing 🤷. I've noticed some areas do have it back, it seems to be random. It's on in this area. I share threads all the time and so really notice this but will try and get that fixed. If you right-click on the time and date of a post, you always get a link but it's not as clean and easy. Leave it with me, we will try and get it working again. It's one of those things you realise is so useful around the place 😃

I wanted to "share" a post in the reiki and healing section with someone I thought might be interested - but where you can usually choose report or share, only report comes up. Is this a glitch, or can one actually not share posts in some forums ? ETA - juse idly looking - the same applies in the identify the deck thread,.

Hmmmm........... @PathWalker Alla @Nemia, I am forever displaced as I have a multicultural background, so growing up in my homeland - my body loved the land, but I did not blend seamlessly into the culture. And so on this level - I never quite "fit". Nowhere can ever feel like what your body was bioenergetically introduced to at birth and grew up on - chemically, emotionally and energetically. So you must come to terms with feeling forever adrift on some level. I was born in Kenya on the equator. My father was Kenyan 1 culture, my mother is Swiss, another completely different culture. We would regularly visit my Swiss family, a land quite different to where I live now - which is England, & different to Kenya where I was born. Absolutely everything is different. The soil - there is no red murrum soil on this continent - the flora and fauna, the smells & sounds, the light, the seasons, the microbes... I suffer from seasonal affective disorder, because the light is so different - my body never adjusted. And I secretly believe, that if I could go home to Kenya, and re-populate my gut with Kenyan microbes - half my health problems would disappear. As has been suggested - having items that connect you to home, contemplating them & tuning into their energy can be helpful. I have a variety of these, including recordings of what an African day & night sound like. In my spiritual practice - the places that I go to in my minds-eye (my sacred grove/temple, magical inner space etc.) are all lands from my childhood. These practices are so ingrained, that I walk around with my homeland in me. It took many many years - to form a connection with my new home here. Countless hours getting used to what the soil looks and behaves like, what the local flora and fauna is and sounds like (nothing can replace the natural learning that came from observing wildlife & the land whilst I grew up. An experience that cannot be reproduced of course). What comes to mind also is this: Q: "What shall I do if I'm lost in the forest?..." A: "Stand still. The trees ahead and bushes beside you Are not lost. Wherever you are is called 'Here', And you must treat it as a powerful stranger, Must ask permission to know it and be known. The frost breaths, Listen... It answers - I have made this place around you. If you leave it, you may come back again saying 'Here'. No two trees are the same to Raven. No two branches are the same to Wren. If what a tree or bush does is lost on you, You are surely lost. Stand still. The forest knows Where you are. You must let it find you." ~ David wagoner Grounding with crystals is an interesting thing. I have 2 particular pocket crystals: 1) A shard of Black Tourmaline for protection. 2) A heart shaped piece of Tiger Iron for grounding . Tiger Iron is also for strength and resilience, and is a combination of Golden Tiger's eye, Red Jasper and Hematite - all 3 are grounding stones. Hematite is rich in iron (Heam = Iron) and Red Murrum soil from my birth land, is red - because it has a high Iron and aluminium content. I've just discovered that Tourmaline has aluminium in it, & is peizoelectric and pyroelectric. Piezoelectricity can produce negative air ions. Now - I grew up in a negative air ion rich environment, because my childhood home was in the country surrounded by Savannah and patches of forest. How interesting..... You see the connections? I mostly carry these pocket stones around when I'm feeling vulnerable/burned out/short on sleep/unwell etc. AND - you CAN carry chalk in your pocket... if you keep it in a little zip lock baggie... Then you could take it out when you're feeling weird and draw smiley faces on the pavement like kids do 🤪🙌.

Something else just came to mind that I thought to share: I have a very good Jewish friend (whom to my disgust, decided to return to the mother land during Brexit, so I don't see or hear from his regularly anymore). He invited me to his wedding. I'd never been to a Jewish wedding and it was steeped in tradition - so much so, that I felt overwhelmed for everybody else. Lol. (which I'm sure is ridiculous, but that's how it hit me). Later when we spoke of it, he said to me "Yes - we are standing on the shoulders of giants! 💪". And my expression from my experience was - "rather than being held up by giants, I feel like you are the tiny cogs holding up a giant weight - like Atlas's curse". Further on this story - just because I know you'll all love it 😉: A year or so earlier he and I were entering a class room to hear all about Pamela Coleman Smith's life, and on each of our chairs, there was a Tarot card. We were directed to look at our Tarot card. The card that he had on his chair - was the 4 of Wands. He looked at the card and said to me - "What does this mean?". And I said - "It's a wedding... getting married or going to a wedding anytime soon??" He was silent for a little while, and then he said to me "I've met someone...". Huh -Fancy!!!! AND - then, when I went to his wedding - I saw, the 4 of Wands in the flesh, because traditionally, Jewish people get married under a canopy held up by 4 pillars. I was gobsmacked and excited, because being ignorant I was not expecting this. 1) What a thought... 2) Why 7? fascinating. I was introduced to the 7 generations back idea, through seeing a carving. ...on Etsy. I was spellbound and really wanted to jam it into my already full collection, however, it was a bit out of my price range. It was 7 generations of women and was a bit like a Russian doll. The "mess" will hopefully be far less than in other places around the globe 🤞. Then again... perhaps by then, we'll have had a 3rd world war, obliterated everything and have started from scratch once more... or gone to the stars and terraformed the nearest planets... 🤔... I like the idea of teaching my ancestors. It lends a layer of responsibility to how one lives their life, which I think is a good thing.

Sundays are often my rest days - not for religious reasons, but because I want to be fresh for my Monday lifting sessions 😁. So on Sundays I often clean, declutter and work on small projects. Last week I made the foundation for a guidebook that I’m compiling for the Stella’s tarot. Stuff like that are good to do on Sundays for me 🙂

Welcome to the forum, @perseph . I hope you enjoy it here. It's a great place for exchanges, journals, and study or practice groups, since everything is organized so you can find it later. My go to deck has been the Tabula Mundi for the past decade. But I recently made a deck for myself and have been using that some (when reading for myself). I also love the Roots of Asia, but that's another one I mostly use for myself. (There's a deck of the week group here too, if you find you want to pull out some of your other tarots or oracles ---Ignore me if you've already seen it!)

I'm glad to be a part of this community. I am new here and would like to do tarot exchanges. I am currently trying to deepen my knowledge of the tarot meanings, and am always finding new correlations. I'd love to see what everyone's takes on the cards are. I've been reading tarot for about 16 years now. But I am by no means an expert lol. I think there is always something new to learn. I love to collect tarot and oracle cards. I haven't counted my cards before, maybe I should do that soon 🧐 I know I have 20+ at this point. I only use about 2-3 decks consistently though and one I use everyday. I would love to learn cartomancy as well, I think that would be really fun. Other than tarot, I have 3 cats. I love to go on bike rides when I have to the time to. I am trying to get back to my creative side lately as well. I'm curious what everyone's go-to deck is? Mine is the druidcraft and ethereal visions tarot.

    1) But that's just the thing about being "A witch" seeing the magic in the mundane 🙃. Makes like a lot more exciting! 2) It's quite natural to be slow during winter. Winter is, as Winter does - everything hibernates/sleeps & rests.
