Hello everyone. Iยดm all new to tarot, never hold a deck before. But I woke up last week craving for one. Called my friend to lay the cards for me. Never feelt that feeling before. It was like going in to a wall of knowing. Maybe it sounds strange, it is to me anyway. I feel that I can be more openminded about what's going on around us. I dont know, my writing seems odd in a way =D Who am I? I'am a 35 years old mother of four daughters and live in Sweden with my husband. A truck driver who likes to crochet, train crossfit och powerlifting. I am in a life-changing place right know. Finding myself and exploring if my feelings are right... =)

Hello all, I've just gotten into Tarot as a tool of self-reflection this past month, and am really enjoying learning all about it. I hope to listen quietly here to those who know more than me, and grow as a reader.

Hello Everyone, I'm a newbie here. I began my tarot journey since year 2000, but to be quite frank, I am still a novice reader as I haven never done complicated spread for reading. Normally, I do my own ritual and garner enough mental energy before making a reading. Currently, I am using Tarot Illuminati deck. It's good to be here. I'm looking truly forward to learning from this forum. In fact, I would like to seek your wise counsel for a card that I draw for my mother-in-law a few hours before she passed away due to COVID. That being said, I think I have to wait till I have accumulated 5 posts before I begin the discussion. May t…

Hello! You can call me River. I have been researching various spiritual practices off and on for the past five-ish years now, and I've only just decided to actually start doing some of the stuff that I've been feeling called to do. It figured it would be good to join a community that can help with any questions I have. That being said, I'm definitely going to be looking for recommendations for decks to get started with as well as any resources anyone knows of that really helped them on the start of their own journeys. Best wishes!

Hello and thanks for this space where other tarot enthusiast can share experiences and interact with each other ๐ I'm Portuguese and I moved to Thailand in 2013. Besides IT background and yoga practitioner and teacher I love tarot as astrology that I start to study 24 years ago. I now love to help others bringing answers to who needs and attract this information and I'm very happy for that. Have a great day everyone ๐๐ Mod Edit: Removed Self-Promotion

I believe many of us do not read for ourselves, because we know we put our thoughts and energies strongly into the cards and we can mislead ourselves, so I wonder how we can be sure that when we are reading for our clients that we aren't putting any preconceived notions or any judgment thoughts and energies into the cards and unknowingly misdirecting them? if we are very skilled at maintaining a cleansed, accepting and open energy field when reading for clients, then can we also read for ourselves?

Hello~ I'm pretty new to tarot. I've had two readings in the past by others professionally, but I'm not very experienced. I skirted around the idea of buying my own deck for a while, even playing around with a deck of cards as a substitute, but finally brought two decks last week. I often can't see the wood for the trees so I like to use them as prompts to see things I may be missing and to get me out of my head. Still getting used to the cards and learning to read them. Hope to learn lots while I'm here :)

Hi all, How nice to have found this forum. Hereby I would like to introduce myself. Iโm a dutch gay guy, working in the arts (theatre & writing). A bit of a tarot-late-bloomer: 45 years old, but always had an interest in the intriguing art of the tarot cards. I only did reading to myself so far, but iโm fascinated to learn more. Iโm not sure of i believe that tarot can predict future, but iโm very sure the cards will definitely give insight. Iโm curious what all your perspectives are and canโt wait to read more about you all!

Hello! I'm Eevee ^^ It's very nice to meet you all! I don't know too much about the tarot, I was beginning my journey back in 2015 but I had to move and leave my cards behind :( I have a new deck now though and I hope I can learn a lot during my time here :) Thank you for having me!

Hello; itโs a pleasure to meet yโall! I am new-ish to tarot and Lenormand, but I have been practicing daily with both since June this year. Iโve mostly been reading for myself, though I occasionally read for some family and close friends. Today, my spread told me that Iโve waited long enough to actually join a divination community, so here I am! I heavily use Aecletic Tarotโs index of spreads, so I was super happy to see Tarot, Tea and Me as the spiritual successor to the site.

Hi I am new! I did dabble in Marseilles (major only) about 40 years ago ๐ฑ & now I have decided to learn properly, with RWS. I'm somewhat of a sceptic when it comes to Tarot & if it really works, but nevertheless I am a person who believes spirituality has power & value. Although I say that, I did have a weird experience with Ouija way back in the 1980s then which put me off the occult. I was young & a bit frightened by a couple of experiences - Now I would say that was an over-active imagination, but back then I felt like something supernatural was happening. These days Im able to study it & feel safe. I have a healthy interest in learni…

Hi everyone ๐ Iโm Trevor; Iโm a game developer with a deep respect for tarot, and I just wanted to say how cool it is to see a community like this thriving. Iโve been quietly absorbing tarotโs symbolism for years, especially the emotional and archetypal layers of the cards. Recently, I created a game called Tarot Awakening not just for entertainment, but as a tool for learning and intuitive development. One of the features Iโm most proud of is something called Actors in a Tarot Drama. Itโs a mode where you โcastโ tarot cards into scenes, almost like assigning roles in a play. The cards become characters, e.g; The Betrayer, The Oracle, The Outsider …

I was not very active towards the end of the Aeclectic forum, but some of you may remember me. I was mostly in the historic deck forums, and that will likely remain my focus here.

Hello! I'm so glad to be back. I joined this forum when Aeclectic Tarot shutdown in 2017 but haven't been around in a long time. I love tarot for the art - It's lovely that I can enjoy and own 78 unique pieces of art in a single tarot deck. Art can be so expensive and difficult to display and store. But with tarot I can keep thousands of tiny art pieces on my bookshelf. The introspective aspects of weekly self-readings are fantastic for guided meditations as well. Sadly, I pretty much dropped all my fun & introspective hobbies/habits when covid hit in 2020. My new year's resolution for 2026 is to re-start all the hobbies & hab…

Hello all - I am starting to dip my toes back into tarot after a number of years away. I was a prolific member of Aeclectic around the turn of the millennium. To say that experience was life-changing would be an understatement. I met my wife Laura (Gardener) through those boards, and together we had a child who has just turned 15. Also, I became a professional reader for awhile in a local shop and it spurred me onto a career change from sales to becoming a licensed psychotherapist, which I have been doing in private practice over the past decade. My experience on those boards led to multiple friendships which I still cherish. Now that I…

Hi, I'm Mxrtizia, I've been practicing tarot for 22 years and reading for others for 13. I learn new card systems by writing the meanings directly on the cards. I believe this helps me bond with my deck and it makes learning key meanings manageable. I am joining with hopes to make new friendships with other diviners and to share my own tarot journey online. Thank you for keeping the spirit of the community alive!

Hello one & all! Having done a quick peak before registering - I was glad to see familiar names. Like I have said life can keep one occupied. Have kept up doing readings, mostly in times of need or indecision, maybe not as frequent as when AT was there. Didn't realize I missed a community like this until random chance showed another forum and after I joined up Aeon418 gave me a shout and suggested this site, even though he isn't a member. Crazy how things work out, eh? I am looking forward to a friendly helpful community! For those who remember my custom woodworking business carries on . . . Jim

Hi everyone!I was into tarot years ago but never moved from being just an apprentice. On my last birthday I got the Macmillan Alice in Wonderland deck so I am now interested in cartomancy.I'm a huge fan of Alice and anything Lewis Carroll, and as in the end the deck is a normal french deck, I thought I could use it for fortune-telling.So far I've learned that red cards are positive and black cards negative, and the element meanings attached to each suit.If you could recommend me a good book on cartomancy, and suggest some simpke three or five-cards spread I will be thankful.I'm glad I've found this forum!
