Hello everyone! My name's Laura and I'm in the Seattle area. I'm a lifelong student of the esoteric arts, though I'm just getting back into Tarot after many ears' hiatus. It's good to be here. I love to learn things. Astrology's always been my main interest (a decade or two ago I worked as a pro astrologer, doing readings, writing a syndicated column, doing articles for various online sites) but my visual arts career took off and I ran with that instead. Hi, my name is Megan. Never in a million years did I think I'd be doing tarot yet here I am. I just became certified in beginner's tarot and I am currently going for my master's certification in tarot.

I've owned my Rider Waite deck for several decades but never gotten into it. Last year I did an online meditation which used The Moon card as the focal point, so I rummaged around for my deck and took out the card for the meditation. One thing lead to another and I've been totally engrossed since then. At the moment I am practicing 3 card draws. I am looking forward to having some input from seasoned slingers, as well as seeing what you are all up to on your side. Hope to meet you on some of the other topics.

Hello everyone, Myself Aparna and I am an oracle cards reader. I started my spiritual journey in 2021 when I had my first heart break . It was painful but I came all the way by myself because I always have faith in universe. I am the the the favourite child of God. Last year I just started getting visions , also my intuition become so strong . And I started reading oracle cards. I'm new here so if this doesn't belong in this discussion group, please let me know where I should be posting it :) I know so many recommend the Rider-Waite deck for beginners but to be honest, they do not "speak" to me. I've had this deck in the past and cannot bond with it. Is there another "beginner" deck you could suggest? Thanks so much.

Hello, Thought it’d be good to introduce myself. My background: I grew up in a Christian household, though my parents were pretty open about discussing spirituality outside of the classic Christianity box. I have been always curious about Tarot and Crystals, but I had to let go of my Christian upbringing that poo pooed that.
