    Started by EagleOwl,

Just joined from UK after dipping into posts here and on Aeclectic over the years…must admit I haven’t pulled out my tarot decks for quite some time but the forthcoming reprint of the Greenwood has rekindled my interest as it was the only pack that really spoke to me. Looking forward to picking up my journey once more with the collective wisdom here. Thank you for accepting me and blessings on everyone. EagleOwl

Hi everyone! My name is Hala. I’m from London. I am a huge tarot/oracle enthusiast and I have been studying the cards for the last 13 years. I’m excited to be part of a community of like minded people who share the same passion. I have been quietly working on my own deck for a while called “The Vessel of Return” and this feels like the right place for me to talk about it. The deck is for those seasons of transition, when you’re between versions of yourself and don’t quite have words for what’s happening yet. A lot of decks aim to pull you into “clarity” fast. This one honours the descent. It’s for the tender, unfinished middle: grief, waiting, unravellin…

Hello! I've made the move from AT and I'm looking forward to participating here in this new community with both new and the familiar usernames. I've also signed up at Tarotsphere and at Mystic Readings, and I might very well be somewhere else, too, but off-hand I can't remember where! :D I'd like to offer a big thanks to Little Fang for setting up Tarot, Tea and Me. :)

    Started by Anoesis,

Hello! I'm Anoesis, or Alex (either is fine), hailing from Macclesfield, where I can usually be found traipsing round the surrounding countryside, clambering up hills and checking out views (the higher the better!) I've been interested in tarot cards from a young age, having seen and heard of them, but not quite understanding what they were, so naturally they were shrouded in this great mystique that never really went away. Despite that however, it was only last year that I actually got a deck and started learning tarot properly; since then, it's become part of my daily routine. Mostly I've been keeping up with daily cards and journalling, but as the past few weeks have b…

Hi everyone! I’m so glad to be part of this forum! I’ve been reading tarot for some years, just for myself and friends, but of course I’m always learning more and more. I’m just thinking I’d like to branch out to try reading for more people, so I’m excited to follow the conversations here and meet some new people. More about me: I’m a writer from Australia. I also tutor children in creative writing and essays. Love dogs, especially my own. Decks I would love to have: Antique Anatomy, Crow Tarot.

    Started by SandsOfTime,

Hello everyone! I’m so excited to join this forum and be a part of the TT&M community. I have been always drawn to Tarot and even when I abandoned the cards (many times) they always came back to me one way or another. I am joining the forum now because the cards reappeared in my life recently and this time I decided to stop ignoring the calling and follow their voice. So I have started reading more and more about cards (I was always dependent on some form of booklet) to develop more of an independence and confidence with my readings. I’ve started reading “78 degrees of wisdom” which I should have read years ago, maybe I wouldn’t abandoned the card then …

My name's Patrick, and I'm a lifelong lover of all things tarot. My first memory of tarot was at 3 years old. My mom and aunt drove over an hour into New York City to meet with this tarot reader in her apartment, while I kicked back and watched Aladdin. This was in ... 1992, I'm pretty sure. Tarot, spirituality, and ritual has been a presence in my life for as long as I can remember. My family's from Argentina, and I always joke that they're only a couple of glasses of wine away from talking about the mystical, the magical, and the paranormal. Alwayyys. Ghosts, divination, psychics, magic rituals. But even then, I'm the only one of my siblings and cousins that took a…

Hello, New to tarot. Been reading about it for a long time. my husband bought me my first deck as gift! All I want is help interpreting, but am not allowed to post on forum yet... Maybe you guys can help? 🙂 Edit by mod as it does not apply to our rules with regards to 5 posts and own interpretation: I shuffled the deck while contemplating my question: Will I have a baby girl? I drew 3 card intending it to be for situation-action-outcome. I drew the Page of cups, the 10 of cups and the 9 of cups.. I thinking this means signs are good for my gender sway- what do you guys think?? Thank you! 😄

Hi Everybody, Another 'Newbie' here! :) I started reading normal playing cards when I was 12yrs old (that was about 100yrs ago X-D) + read for/with my cousins when they stayed with us during the school holidays. I had my first clairvoyant tarot reading from a very old lady in her creepy old house, when I was about 14 or 15 (I remember that I was impressed but pity I didn't write it down what she told me :(). Over the yrs, I've dabbled in Fengshui, I ching, Dominoes, playing cards, astrology (basic), numerology + oracle cards just for fun for family/friends. About 2 1/2yrs ago, while having a long break between jobs, I had an urge to buy my first Tarot deck. Yep u gu…

Hello! I've been using tarot since I was a kid and am happy to find a community dedicated to one of my favorite practices! I've never actually taken the time to learn spreads and am feeling called to do so. My tarot deck has always interacted with me through intuition, and we have our own weird flow, but I think learning spreads would enable me to use other decks as well, and of course enhance my readings ;D I'm very excited to learn and grow as a tarot enthusiast with you guys <3

Greetings from the Pacific Northwest of the USA. Ive taken the moniker OceansInside. I suppose you can call me Oceans if you like. I’m picking up the Tarot again after a 20 year hiatus and as with many in these quarantine times I’ve found the space to dive deep. I do work from home but when I’m not I’ve always got a deck in my hands. Currently next to me is the RWS Borderless Centennial, quite battered with splotches of gold paint after a failed modification experiment. Lol. The deck seems to have forgiven me for the defacement. My very first deck was the Daughters of the Moon given to me for my 16th birthday many moons and moons ago and a life time away. I pref…

Hi! My name is Nnaiad. I have been dabbling in the tarot since I was in my 20's. I'm in my late 50's now. I have never studied them formally. I just get them out from time to time and read for myself or friends Over the years I've learned a lot and am ready to take it to the next level. Currently,I am following Bennebel Wen's advice. She believes that in the beginning, you should practice reading for no-one until you've got it down and I find I am enjoying this because it's less pressure while I learn.
