ThatOracleguy Posted March 7 Posted March 7 My name's Patrick, and I'm a lifelong lover of all things tarot. My first memory of tarot was at 3 years old. My mom and aunt drove over an hour into New York City to meet with this tarot reader in her apartment, while I kicked back and watched Aladdin. This was in ... 1992, I'm pretty sure. Tarot, spirituality, and ritual has been a presence in my life for as long as I can remember. My family's from Argentina, and I always joke that they're only a couple of glasses of wine away from talking about the mystical, the magical, and the paranormal. Alwayyys. Ghosts, divination, psychics, magic rituals. But even then, I'm the only one of my siblings and cousins that took a real interest in tarot and the topics. Not to age myself too hard here, but remember when Amazon was just an book store? The first book I begged my parents to let me buy was The Complete Idiot's Guide to Witchcraft. LOL. Anyway, I just wanted to say hey. I only jussttt discovered this forum, and I'm grateful for it. My tarot journey's been amazing and expansive, but it's also a little lonely. It's kind of a solitary practice, you know? But maybe it doesn't have to be. At the moment I'm living in Buenos Aires, Argentina with my dog Rosie. Been here for almost 2 years now, and I've learned so much from the tarot practices here. It's super fascinating and expansive. But I'm going back to New York City in a couple months, which I consider my home. And I'm excited for that too. Thanks for reading if you made it this far! I look forward to meeting y'all.
