About a year ago I was online window shopping for tarot decks when I thought to myself, "If I am meant to learn tarot, the universe will provide." Well, the next day the universe did indeed provide. Then, provided again some weeks later. Then, again. I now have three tarot decks that chose me. I am in need of more practice, study, and accountability. I know it's been a year but I haven't actually built much experience. BUT let me lead with my most pressing and perhaps saddest question. My name is Tjesi. I started learning the tarot about 3 years ago. Last year I was part of a monthly reading exchange with a specific set of divination questions for each month. This year I have started reading for others on a very, very limited basis. In other words I am really new to this. I have 5 decks that I currently use. Hey everyone. I’ve been collecting tarot decks for about 12 years. I’m not sure how many decks I have but it is probably around 100, which I know either sounds really high or really low depending on how into collecting you are. For reading I usually just use my 1970s RWS but I love, love art and exploring how it can be expressed through tarot it is so fascinating comparing decks and having tiny pieces of art which is why collecting appeals to me. I try to cull my collection every once in a while otherwise I’m sure I’d have more there are so many beautiful decks out there now! Hi everybody!! I just got my first tarot deck!! I gave myself a reading and while looking online for possible interpretations I stumbled upon this forum. I'm completely new at tarot reading. I have always been interested in it, but was hesitant because of the negative stigmas. However, I've come to realize that tarot reading can be a positive experience, so here I am :). Hey! Thought an introduction would be nice I'm a 27 year old page (one day hopefully queen) from Sweden who's been reading cards for about two years. Just started feeling comfortable knowing each card without always looking things up, but I still have a long way to go before I'm confident in my interpretations. I registered here a while ago, just wasn't writing much but also was quite occupied by other things. I have gained some psychology knowledge, counseling, and a Jungian approach toward Tarot. My life has changed so much during this time and I am coming back, to tarot. It feels like I have completed a journey and am back to Fool card now.
