Few months ago was introduced to Traot cards and reading and since then have been in love with Tarot and Oracle reading as well as collecting decks. I am still a newbie in this area and finding my way thru various videos, blogs and Google posts. If I have a question related to Tarot, where do you suggest I go and ask.? Thank you all so much. Love and blessings.

I’m here to explore spirituality and share my experiences. Also, for my mental health, I believe that a host relationship with a psychic vampire would be rewarding and beneficial. I am open to being a host for a sanguine, but only under very special circumstances. My spirituality is very experiential and includes all of my senses being open to it. I also have a long history of experiencing friendly signs around me that speak to me. I created a god to serve me, I have some very surprising stories to share about him. I also have had many encounters with various gods and demons. Regarding witchcraft, I have developed my own approach that is very effective. I use creativ…

My parabolic path through the online tarot community has brought me back here again (I last visited in February), and I think this time I'll buy a membership since almost all of my Aeclectic friends are here. Hopefully as a member I'll be able to share my tarot blog content, which has just passed eight years of almost daily posts (~2,500 of them).

Hi everyone! X/ I joined because it’s so great with a place where it’s possible to indulge in our shared passion for the tarot! I found the forum a while ago through browsing, and when I stumbled upon the kickstarter campaign too, I felt it was as good a time as any to chip in some dollars and sign up here. I do readings for myself, and sometimes for family for fun. Not a beginner, but also not a skilled practitioner. It’s been a few decades since my first real tarot deck, but I haven’t spent every week, month or even year since then pre-occupied with the tarot. Periodically, I’ve lost interest, but every time it’s come back stronger than before. So it’s difficult…

Hi everyone! I´m a working mum from Finland, and a big beginner with tarot. I bought my first tarot deck a very long time ago. I have read a few books and trying to figure out the language of tarot, got stuck and then the deck has been in the drawer for a while until I start over. So now I have started over once again 😃 I was a member at the AT-forum until it shut down. At this point I´m just trying to learn the cards meaning and then getting stuck because I can´t link together one card with the next one in a reading. I think it´s best to just try to figure out the card´s meaning and then maybe later on I can make a fluent reading. Most of the time I jus…

Hello everyone, I am glad I found this lovely forum and look forward in learning here and getting to know the people here. I have dabbled with tarot over the years but never really clicked untill a few weeks ago after the Winter Solstice when it stared to make more sense. A new deck is on the way: Everyday witch Tarot. I love you tube and the flip through reviews people make, so I got to decide to go with this deck! Untill that has arrived I am using The Goddess Tarot from Kris Waldherr. The other decks I own are Medicine cards/ Sacred Path cards by Jamie Sams. The White Light Oracle by Alana Fairchild. Animal Dreaming oracle cards by…

I have put myself through a high amount of readings during the past few months, with high frequency on a daily basis. The readings were mostly non-conventional (not centered around me) and a lot of times took a dark turn in parallel to a reality I was trying to match to. Due to the nature of these readings, I have no one to tell, or talk to, and I feel pretty lonely. So I just want to connect to you guys, observe and study from you more talented and intuitive readers, and querents, to ease this loneliness, and also to hone my skills. I would like to build for myself a more robust system around the Tarot practice. Thank you for accepting me into your…

Hello, my name is Malena I've been drawn into tarot for about % years now but the lifestyle I was living every time I got a deck to learn on someone always ended up taking it. So, I paused on learning for a while now that I finally have a place to call my own and nothing will come up missing, I want to get back into learning because I've always been drawn to tarot it has to be for a reason. so, I'm thankful to have found this group I think it will help me a lot in my journey with this calling.

Hello, I'll post here as Celine - I'm not used to forums etc so I hope to get the hang of it soon. I first started looking into Tarot for illustration purposes (personal, not professional) and...discovered a whole new world. So here I am, RWS (and I have promised myself not to buy another deck before being thoroughly comfortable with this one), still reading (though I now struggle to find writers who engage me as much as Rachel Pollack and James Ricklef), journalling like never before. You might already know what's coming : I'm hoping to get to read the cards for other people (like Tarot "buddies", for practice and learning!). In my e…

Hello all, It is so nice to read posts by old acquaintances and friends! I was kissa on ATF but the screen name was taken already so here I shall be Kissa72 :-) French living in Finland, was very much into tarot for many years and took a sudden break 3+ years ago. A week ago I found the Zillich Tarot and fell in love. I hadn't bought any deck in over 3 years! I got it today and was amused at the printing error on The Universe so I decided to check the internet and found this forum :-) It almost feels like home though I have to get used to the interface and the dull colors ;-) Long live TTM! Welcome to the website of Tarotkat. I have been studying and reading the Tarot since way back in 1977, and have, as of 2018, 41 years of practice in this fine art. I am a Tarot Professional in all senses of the phrase, and have now brought my business into the modern, digital world to reach out with the unlimited wisdom of the Tarot! I started learning my art back in the mid 70’s at the height of a renewed interest in all things connected with ‘the unknown’, and learned my trade in the early days with the classic Rider Waite Smith deck, complimented by the Thoth, Aquarian and Golden Dawn decks. I read extensively every available text on the Tarot as published at the ti…

Hi everyone, I'm a tarot newbie. I purchased my classic Rider-Waite deck over a year ago and have been solo studying it on and off since then. I was drawn to tarot as a result of a lifelong feeling of being an outcast in most social and professional circles, which led to me wanting to connect with my spirit guides. I wanted to know why I was always an outsider and develop my intuition better. It's been a slow start for me since I was in grad school til this past December and didn't always have time or energy to do a reading. I spend a lot of time researching each card and trying to understand the meanings and imagery of the cards, etc. I have done about …

Hi! I'm Kate. I'm in the US midwest (though not from here). I've been actively into tarot for almost two years. Before our current crisis started I was working my way through Beth Maiden's Alternative Tarot Course, I'm planning to pick it back up again soon. My current main deck is This Might Hurt by Isabella Rotman -- I haven't been able to put it down since I received it. 🙂 My first deck is long gone but I had it in high school (I think my sister has it now). Looking forward to chatting with all of you!

Hi everyone, I wanted to introduce myself. I'm a puzzle, game, and tech enthusiast. I've been fascinated with tarot and Oracle decks since I was a teen. I am most compelled by the inspiration and storytelling aspect of tarot and Oracle cards. I'm currently publishing a roleplaying game that uses a custom Oracle deck, for example. Does anyone have suggestions for good storytelling applications of tarot?

Hi to all of you, I just joined this site and wanted to make an introduction. Im hoping it's the correct forum tab for this as Im learning to navigate this site. My name is Marguerite, Im very close to turning 43, my favourite tea (at present time) is raspberry pomegranate and I live with my shetland sheepdog who's 10yrs old. He is like my only Son. ❤️ The first time I've drawn tarot cards was in my teens, secretly playing with my father's Marseille deck. I honestly had no idea what I was doing but those cards fascinated me. I don't know what happened to that deck and wish I still had it. I've been an avid student of numerology for many years…

Hello, I'm Alan and live in the UK. Cartomancy of all forms intrigues me and I started reading playing cards in the 1990s. My first book on tarot was Gail Fairfield's Choice Centered Tarot along with a few others and some books on numerology. I am pleased to be here and look forward to meeting and learning from everyone here.

Hi I just joined. I am BRAND new to tarot and finding my way. I thought a forum might also help me. :) I've started with a daily pull and while I can piece my way through the individual cards, I struggle with how to read them together so eager to learn. I am American living in Amsterdam and currently wanting to make big changes in my life. Look forward to participating in this group. X/

Hi there! First - nice place you've got here! As for an introduction, let's see... I've always been facinated with the suprnatural and the occult. As I've shuffled through life this has shaped a lot of my interests. From a love to all things horror (movies, books, music, etc.) to my facination with religion from all over the world. And now I find myself enraptured by Tarot (I also like tea, for the record). On a whim, I signed up for a Tarot class I saw advertised and when I got to the class and held the deck, it felt all so amazingly natural. I've already devoured one book on the subject and I've been researching and spen…
