Hi everyone, So glad to have found this little corner of the web. I'm 31 years old and from Atlantic Canada and have been exploring tarot since early 2021. I love researching and learning about the tarot, but I'm afraid I've had trouble taking it out of my "bedroom" so to speak - to truly improve, I know that I have to practise with real people! I was looking for a place to shop and happened on your quaint tarot forum. I didn't need to get a reading to see that this would be a lot of fun. I've got about five decks in store, but don't hate me for being secular, I only use them for psychological insight. I hope to learn about the cards, how people use them, their spiritual growth and I hope to share the same with you. Hey, I'm Saynte! I have been getting back into tarot once again after an eight month break. I have been reading on and off since 2018 using the RWS deck. While I used to buy different looking decks, now I generally just buy clones of that one in various sizes and colouring. I'm excited to meet all of you!

I got back into tarot a few years after dabbling in my early twenties. I was both fascinated and conflicted about tarot then. It's a familiar story; religious upbringing, yada yada yada. I eventually freaked out after a few too many eerily accurate readings and sold my deck to the local bookstore. 😁 Since I started reading again, I've been visiting the Aecletic forum archives and learning a lot. 1976: Purchased a Rider Tarot deck because I was into comics and liked the pictures. 2024: Found unused deck in a mildewed box of random odds and sods while having a post-retirement clear-out. Felt inclined to dig a little deeper into the whole Tarot thing. Bought a Thoth deck and guide. Became totally immersed. And now I've only gone and joined a Tarot forum. Wasn't expecting that. My adoptive mother read the cards but never taught me, but I was always interested in them. Im more of an intuitive reader but will fall back on the traditional when needed.
