Kia Ora everyone! My name is Lucia also known as Sweet as Pins and I am an artist and Oracle deck creator from New Zealand, although I am also very much Italian I married a New Zealander and moved here in 2015. I love art and after creating some coloring books based on Green Magic, I also thought it would be fun to incorporate those images into an oracle card deck (MoonGlow Rituals Oracle Deck.) My next project will be a tarot cards deck, but I will still need to learn so much about tarots before starting that project. So far I have collected a couple of decks: The art Oracle Deck (bought at the local Art Gallery) Cthulhu Valult …

Hi everyone! I'm Luned, I've been reading on and off since around 2000 (just for myself - the earliest dated entry I can find in my tarot journals is 2001) and have recently felt the call to pick up the cards again. My first deck was the Celtic Tarot by Julian De Burgh & Mary Guinan, my most precious deck is Ellen Lorenzi-Prince's Tarot of the Crone (I have both the original limited edition plus the 3rd edition), I just bought Tarot of the Owls by Pamela Chen & Elisabeth Alba, and my standard reading deck is Robin Wood. I was on the Aeclectic Tarot forum back in the day, so it's very nice to have found a new online spot and to meet you all.

Kiaora! I'm Natalea, I've been reading my own cards for guidance for years, but could greatly use some assistance in moving past individual card meanings to pull it all together 💖

Hello Everyone !! Nice to meet you all in a new forum I was a member on AT for about 7/8 years although I mainly took part in the reading circles. I was quite happy to see that the ISG reading circle is being run here :D I have missed that very much !

Hi everyone! I´m a working mum from Finland, and a big beginner with tarot. I bought my first tarot deck a very long time ago. I have read a few books and trying to figure out the language of tarot, got stuck and then the deck has been in the drawer for a while until I start over. So now I have started over once again 😃 I was a member at the AT-forum until it shut down. At this point I´m just trying to learn the cards meaning and then getting stuck because I can´t link together one card with the next one in a reading. I think it´s best to just try to figure out the card´s meaning and then maybe later on I can make a fluent reading. Most of the time I jus…

Dear community! I have been learning to read tarot for whole two days now. Some might find it a bit too short, but I can assure you, I already have questions and need guidance. I have always been very intuitive and spiritual, since I was a young teenager I've been trying to expand my consciousness and my world. Now, at 40, I bought a deck of cards, and later found out you're not supposed to buy them yourself, but I feel really good about it. Looking forward to meeting new friends! Love, A.

Hello tarot lovers, I'm the holystic vagabond and I'm part of the lucky humans that had tarot entering their lives. -who would imagine that?- I was completely CLOSED to any sort of spirituality in the past. Rationality and science were my mantra. But for some reasons, tarot chosed me (at least, the feeling i had): I had a spiritual awakening, and many signs showed up that led me to the cards. Did you experienced something like that too? -like a need- I spent night and days learning about the interpretation of the cards (and still learning every day). But it took me a while to share and "confess" my passion t…

Hello hello! I'm Libra, a recently 30 year old tarot reader from the rainforests of beautiful BC! I have a fascination with tarot for years, that stemmed from a recurring dream of my youth, that I now feel is a memory from a more magical past life. I was a young girl from a well off family with a nanny, who late in the night would tell me stories about fairies and witches, but it always seemed so real coming from her, not like a fairy tale but like she was recounting events of her life. Then one day, she gave me a tarot deck! It was an interesting deck with green borders and an image on the top half and a ornamental square on the bottom. When I used the cards, always in t…

Hi all! Just realized I had this posted in tye wrong section. I wonder how do you guys link cards together? I use RW tarot cards and am not a pro (also new to this forum as well). It has always been hard for me to link them together to read cards “like a story”. I know that I’m supposed to find things in common but sometimes it’s very hard to do so! any recommendations? thanks!

Hello to everyone here. I used to be at the Aeclectic Forum and I was sad to see it go. My first deck was the original Oswald Wirth tarot, bought for me by a girlfriend about 38 years ago. Currently I like Liber T Stars Eternal and the old Swiss 1JJ. I occasionally do readings for myself, but I mainly use the cards as companion in lonely times. In 2001 I became a Freemason with UGLE in London; a wonderful experience!

I used to lurk at Aeclectic Tarot Forum back in the day, and I still find myself returning there and learning a ton from the archives. I've been a casual reader of tarot since I was in high school, but it's only been more recently (I'm now in my 30s) that I've begun making a really dedicated effort to learn the cards' meanings, take notes, and develop my skills as a reader. I'm finding that the quality of resources available out there is a real mixed bag, and if I can't find the kind of insight I'm seeking elsewhere I can still almost always find it on Aeclectic. I'm hoping for a similar experience here, since so many of the folks who used to post there migrated over here…

Hi everyone! I’m not entirely sure what should go here, but I can tell you a little bit about the twisty path that has been my tarot journey! I first picked up a deck when I was a kid, maybe, oh, 25 years ago? I was very young, and I was giving readings to my mom and her friends. I didn’t understand what I was saying- I was just reading from the guidebook, after all- but apparently my readings were accurate. I lost interest in this pretty quickly, but would pick up the cards here and there, especially as a teenager. Fast forward to 2014. I got back into tarot, a little, and then about a year later, I was fully bit by the tarot bug! I was HOOKED. Unfo…

Hello, all! I'm Audra -- just joined the forum this morning. I stumbled over this forum while googling reviews of an oracle deck, and I was immediately intrigued. I've been studying tarot for forever on my own -- via books and personal practice -- but I haven't participated in many of the tarot communities (lurked for a very long time on some Yahoo Groups-based tarot discussion lists, though). I turned 40 this summer and feel like I need to change up how I do things, including my current tarot practice, so here I am! I started reading in 1996 or so, and did heavy study for quite a while before I found myself mostly collecting decks and not working with them. About two yea…

Hello! I am Alraundelberin, 34F & I am an academician in one of the major uni.s in Turkey. Tarot has become a passion for about 1,5 year for me although I have been always interested in it and I had a RWS deck at home like forever. Tarot has changed many things in me and still I am discovering hundreds of new things whenever I study them and I can see that what they say is true: with Tarot you're forever a student. Despite my interest, I have been very shy when it comes to read for others. Being in the academia, I tend to do things according to the book and I have to be accurate, eloquent and well-educated to be "ready". So being a perfectionist doesn…

Hello! I am from a drab midwest American city, and work in public education. I "seriously" delved into my spirituality about two years ago, primarily through tarot and astrology. Over the last few months, life has pulled me away from this side of myself, and I am ready to commit to never letting that happen again. I was a much happier person when I was riding that spiritual journey train. I've used tarot to learn a lot about myself and life, but at this point my own biases are blocking my perceptions. I'm ready to start reading for strangers, and am hoping I can expand my skills and understanding by doing so. It looks like this is the spot to be for that, and I am hap…

Merry Meet and Hello! I'm just going to jump right into a lengthyish intro now to get it out of the way. 🙂 I've been doing tarot and other card readings primarily for myself with the occasional readings for others not long after my dive into Wicca about 20 years ago (nowadays, you'll hear me refer to myself as a Witch with heavy-Wiccan influence; the labels are not important, so call it as you will). For my entire adult life, I have been told numerous times--primarily by professional readers--that I have a natural inclination for doing what they're doing. But, as one such friend liked to point out, I had too much of a tendency of putting my carriages before my…

Hi everyone! I am new to this site and to tarot. I've always been intuitive, but am now at a place in my life where I have time to learn tarot and other divination methods. I am happy to have discovered this group and look forward to learning from all of you while being part of a community!
