Hello Jack_ here. How are fellow members of the forum? 🙂 I met two travellers in our my trip. Out of curiosity, I asked these ladies to read my tarrot cards. They were kind of amataur but humble to accept their ignorance. They check my card 3 times, and read description in the book. I was surprised about things they said to me. That was true that time, for the most of the part. I wanted to know more but I don't have the book and not sure where to learn more about it online. So I joined this forum.

Hi all, I just joined the forums, and I'm looking forward to many deep, inspiring tarot conversations with you all. :) My quick background - Recently coming back to tarot after 20+ years, I picked up the Gilded Tarot Royale deck a couple of weeks ago, and then the USG Rider Deck last week. The Gilded Tarot is like a new and fresh approach to me, while the Rider deck feels like talking to to an old friend again. It's great to be back! Cheers, Steve

Hello all, I'm a type-A writer and classical musician tapping into the emotional and spiritual identity I locked away as a younger woman. I'm a a devotee of Shostakovich, Simone Weil, praxis, and the Weird Studies community. If I'm at my desk, there's a candle burning. Ask my hair how it knows. A few years ago I would have called myself a dilettante in tarot and other occult-facing practices, but I'm in a revolutionary period: reading and learning tarot, alongside meditation, is bringing reflection and focus to my life. I want to deepen this experience and share with others that clarity. Thank you in advance for teaching me. - Finch

I think a lot of people probably already know me. I'm re-introducing myself anyway. I took some time away from Tarot and other cards because I was in need of getting out of a rut. In the months I've been away, I've been learning to watercolor. Normally I paint with oils and watercolor has been totally new to me. Finally I've reached a point with it that now I'm ready to resume my cards. Taking time away can be quite rejuvenating. I'm living in Washington now. I started out in Olympia but now I'm in Tacoma. Every time I move, I vow not to move again, but something always comes along to move me elsewhere. I guess I should just resign myself. lol Currently I'm work…

Hello everybody. I’m Bathroomwindow. Silly name for sure but since I’m a curious female Beatles fan that’s what I opted for. However, I’m not intrusive but often kindhearted, open minded and intuitive. I own a Thoth deck and I pick up the cards quite often for myself as well as I try out my reading skills with a small circle of trusted family members and friends. I do have quite a bit to learn to get into the combinations of cards which is what brought me here. Happy New Years

I’ve had a few readings done but I finally bought my own deck. I’m slowly working my way through the cards to get familiar with them and what they mean.

Hello everyone, Just found this forum and since I am starting with tarot I thought it would be a good place to start.

This is my requisite introduction post. I've been reading Tarot since 2000 off and on. I used to be on AT back in 2004-2005. I don't remember what my user name was back then. Right now I am going through Dusty White's books. I have a Robin Wood deck, a Radiant RW, an Archangel Power deck and I swear The Lightseer's Deck is screaming my name. ~Strength

Hello! I joined this forum just over a year ago but I couldn't think of what to say in my introduction so I didn't post anything at all. I've been reading Tarot for over 30 years, but I still consider myself a beginner, and I have started to study Lenormand recently. I am painfully shy, exceptionally anxious, but I would really love to connect with fellow Tarot enthusiasts. I was a semi-active member of Aeclectic Tarot forum for many years before it was shuttered, and I hope that I will be able to contribute something to this community was well.

Hi all, New here to tarot tea and me. I have been studying tarot since 2013. My first deck was Barbara G Walker tarot. It is my go to deck ever since. However over the years I have been studying older decks, ie, TDM, Rider Waite Smith and Visconti Sforza etc. I particularly like the renaissance period. I am keen to learn and study more tarot spreads and meet people who enjoy sharing tarot stories and knowledge. Slan for now Tricone On the Wild Atlantic Way Ireland

Good morning from SW Washington USA, AJ before, now AJ-ish My card of the day is the 6 of Wands from the Tarocco Piemontese, moving forward, my choice to huddle on the floorboards, or sit up straight and steer myself... I made my final post elsewhere a few minutes ago, and that is all behind me now. I'm looking forward to being part of the "uses cards, definitely weird" gang. Thank you for having me, Sharyn/AJ

Hello everyone. I am new to the forum experience and hope to broaden my tarot/oracle card horizons. I am an avid collector and reader but need much guidance in finding cards since I have the worst luck in finding artists or card deck names. I am hoping this is the place to help me out as well as finding a kindred community. I look forward to seeing where this path may lead.

Hello everyone! I'm very excited to be joining this community. I've been studying tarot on and off for many years, but have never felt very confident, always second-guessing my interpretations. I'd like to get more comfortable with reading and I'm looking forward to learning, practicing, and talking with you all!

Hi! I was interested in Tarot in the late 90s, but in the 2000s I was distracted by other projects. Now my interest has arisen again. This happened, I think, after I published novel "Last Call" by Tim Powers in my country. I have acquired a number of decks and books that have appeared recently. I found interesting and smart blogs, including your forum. I hope I'm not interrupting anyone.

Hi, I can’t find anywhere else in the drop down arrow to introduce myself, so I’m here. I’m very new to tarot and a little bit addicted to buying decks ! I have the original Rider Waite deck and also The Gilded Tarot. On a daily card basis the tarot seems to be very accurate so far. I also have Doreen Virtue - Archangel Oracle Cards, which in a daily basis have also been very accurate. My problems stem on doing a bigger spread. I don’t seem to be able to equate the spread into the reason for the spread. Does anyone know if there are any online course that they would recommend or if that’s not allowed, perhaps could point me in the direction of some websites that migh…

Hello everyone, I’m glad that I’ve found this forum. From childhood reading cards was my hobby. Last ten years I’ve spent more time for courses and reading books about astrology and Tarot. Astrology is my “love of my life” but Tarot is really helpful as well. Please forgive me my English - it’s my second language. 🙂

Hi, my name is Hollis, I've been collecting tarot decks for 5 years but haven't gotten serious about learning to read them until recently. I'm looking forward to meeting folks and learning a lot.

Hi Everyone, I'm so glad I found this forum! I got introduced to Lenormand cards couple of years ago but only recently I have been practicing with them. I started with just one card draws and eventually moved on to three cards. I feel I'm just beginning to get the sense of how the cards communicate with me. Looking forward to learning from all of you.

Hello, I joined the forum yesterday. I am an absolute Tarot newbie. Last year I finally got called to the Tarot. Guess I' m finally more or less ready. I' m still trying to familiarize myself with the meanings of the classic RWS. Doesn't come easy but when something finally catches my attention I dive in deep. I hope to learn here from the forum posts. It's not my intention to learn to read the cards for others but I want to try and use the tarot as a tool for development of Self. .

Hi everyone, my name is Tiffany Chantel, and I’m a Sagittarius living in the Los Angeles area. First I gotta say that I’m so happy to have found this forum!! I spent so much time browsing through the old forum (AT), and was so very bummed when I realized it wasn’t active anymore. Finally I found this forum, and I’m so excited! I’ve been intrigued and called to the Tarot (most all things esoteric/mystical) since I was about 10 years old (I’m 41 now)! I bought my first deck (the classic RW) when I was 14, from KayBee toys (anyone remember that store??) in Napa, California, where I grew up. I still have the deck today, and since it was in storage for about 20 yea…

Hi everyone! I’m excited to be here. I first got into tarot back in my late teens/early 20s but I haven’t practiced in years. Lately I’ve been feeling the need for some direction. I was gifted a new deck and I want to start practicing again. I’m looking forward to reconnecting with the cards, learning from all of you, and finding some clarity along the way. Thanks for having me!
