Hello! I purchased the Welkin Odyssean Tarot, a hermetic odyssey earlier this year because I absolutely love the artwork and I do love Jung. So this was a sign for me to learn. I don't know how to read the cards so I am hoping I can learn here. Thanks for having me.

Hello wonderful people! I guess I should take the time to finally say hi and tell you all a little about me I love parties and presents, fairy tales (particularly the older more original ones - my grandfather used to read them to me from a big old readers digest book that I still have), mythology, a bit of classical history, fantasy books (I read WAY too much lol), Brian Froud, crystals (I got given a 1 kg bag of mixed tumble stones as an early birthday present from my lovely man :D ), painting, glitter, creating my own skincare, doing massages (and getting them!) among other things. I've worked in a print shop and vineyards, as a bartender (mmm cocktails! :D …

Dear all, very nice to be here with you! I was active on the AT forum for a while a few years ago, especially in the Tarot de Marseille reading exchanges and groups. I went "off" tarot for a while after a very intense two years of learning - then I found my way back, via the wonderful (and out of print...) Collective Tarot and other queer decks. Still love the Tarot de Marseille the most though, the Dodal was my first love and is still often my go to deck for readings for myself, the small mamanmiyuki TdM from Japan is my main deck to read for others, and I have many more... Anyway, nice to be back! And looking forward to diving back into learning and reading…

Hi There! It's nice to find this group. After ATF closed I stopped reading for other people other than a few friends. I'm excited to reconnect and sharpen my skills again. ~Veritas

Greetings from Brooklyn! I am SO happy to have found this place and I look forward to learning and sharing with all of you. A little bit about me and why I am here... I have been interested in Tarot for as long as I can remember but I never thought it could be for me because in my childhood mind it was only for psychics, of which I am not. That being said, also since childhood I have had a lot of, for lack of a better word, "activity" around me. You name it, it's happened (visual, auditory, tactile, things moving, etc) from energies/entities/spirits/whatever and the past three years or so it's been escalating to a, frankly, disturbing amount. I don't believe …

Hello, hello! I am RhubarbOwl and I am always tired. Tarot has been in my life for a while now but I never use it too regularly. I quite fancy the Vikings Tarot overall, my current favorite is Hush Tarot, and I am trying to get to know my Quareia deck better. This one might be too much for me but it captivates me in a way no other deck has! I am happy to be joining a forum again and I look forward to discussing and learning more!

I wanted to re-introduce myself. I got rid of my first deck (Thoth) because I could not connect with it. I ended up getting the Classic Tarot and I actually connect with it. I bought a 2023 yearly tarot journal and planner from Etsy. I think it will be a neat way for me to get to know tarot. I’ve had a hell of a year. I met my happiest self, I had everything that I’d ever wanted, but it all got destroyed. Tarot has been a way to help me cope. Are you all ready for the new year?

So I know I'm an existing member, and maybe shouldn't be doing this in the intro section, but it HAS been 5 years since I last posted so I figured it made sense to sort of reintroduce myself and explain where I've been. I'm Symph, primarily I'm just a spiritual rock musician, but I got into tarot about 5 years ago and wound up here, I remember many of you as really awesome people. So why did I leave abruptly? It was quite a few things but I think mainly my conscience kept wrestling with whether or not I felt good about tarot, witchcraft, occult, all these buzz words that having grown up christian I'm so programmed to fear. While I was wrestling with al…

Hello, I've been lurking on here for a while, and finally started an account because I wanted to get more involved with the rich knowledge here on the forum. My Mom had a few tarot decks that I grew up playing with and I re-connected with tarot about 6 years ago. I really only use them for myself at this point, mainly for personal development and connecting to my intuitive side. I also love collecting decks a bit too much. I'm still too shy/anxious to do readings for other people. It's really an introvert problem. And a perfectionist problem. I want to really know what I'm doing before going public, but I think that's holding me back a LOT. I've only recently s…

Hi everyone A newbie. Had cards before - now starting again. Not a big fan of the rider Waite tarot deck - I don't know why not - but I just don't feel attached to the cards. So looking for tips for a nice beginner deck. Also got the Wild Unknown Tarot - with which I do feel connected. But maybe not the easiest to start with. Hope to learn from all of you!

Hello everyone!! I'm new to the online community here and so just wanted to quickly introduce myself. ✧ Me Then: My name is Kenneth and I'm a psychic reader from Canada. There's a bit more wordy of a biographical sketch of myself on my FB page (link below), but just to introduce myself a little here.. I'm 30 years old, born in Canada to two very strict, very fundamentalist, and unknowingly, very psychic parents. (Any form of non-Pentecostal form of spiritual expression was forbidden.) Upon seeing the way I was raised, my father's mother (a psychic and spiritualist), decided to move to my town to watch me grow up more closely (and prevent the closi…

Hello everyone! I used to be a member on the Aeclectic Tarot site and I recently found this tarot site which seems quite similar. I've been practicing tarot on and off for a few years now as just a fun hobby. Recently I've started practicing tarot regularly amongst my friends and family. I would like to one day become a proficient reader and I feel the best way would be to start reading strangers. I'm hoping by joining here I can develop a stronger insight with the cards and have reading become more natural to me. I'm looking most forward to doing some tarot exchanges with others!

Hi all, my name is Annelies Hoornik, I live and work in the Netherlands, Europe. I am married, no kids no pets (would love a dog, but too busy to be a good pet owner at the moment) I have been reading Tarot since 2000 and have been a professional reader of Angel oracles since 2006. People know me as the Dutch Angel Lady. I have been a professional in the alternative/metaphysical scene since 2002. Since a few years I have added the Tarot to my services because it felt like a good idea. I ran into the name of this forum on a website about Tarot who points here for good information :-) and I am fascinated by all things Tarot. I hope to find background information o…

Hello TT&M community, So quite some time has passed since the shut down of AT forum and I finally found the courage to register to another tarot community I have been on and off tarot for 7 years but I have not yet had the aha moment when I feel the cards ''speak'' to me (since I normally interpret the cards in more methodical way and not the intuitive way) but I hope I will be able to get back with with the tarot study and find it soon Happy to continue my tarot journey with you guys here!

Hello everyone! You can call me "Sun." So instead of writing a basic introduction, I decided to just share my story of how I became interested in Tarot and spirituality. About two years ago, I attended an art history course and met this classmate. We quickly became friends and aided each other in studying for exams and such. He was very much interested in tarot himself, so he offered to do some quick readings for me using his Dragon Tarot deck. I didn't have a personal reading from anyone until that point, and he fascinated me with the accuracy of his reading. The good thing was that he offered me "free readings," which was very generous of him. I felt inclined to return …

Hi! I grew up religiously oppressed, and always have had a negative view of tarot up until a few years ago. Even after I released myself from religion, I always questioned the validity of tarot. Now that I'm venturing into it (I bought the eye light tarot deck by Violet Aveline at a Modest Mouse show) it's been incredibly enlightening. So many spot on readings, that it's significantly changed my life. Sometimes I find it difficult to interpret card combinations especially... I have also noticed that some recognize reversed cards and some do not. I would love more insight!
