I read that Wands are connected to the season of Spring and so that conjures up thoughts of inspiration, vitality, activity, growth, enthusiasm and excitement just to name a few. It can also represent our personal (fire)power which is the driving force of ambition and subsequently the changes in our lives that happen due to our actions. Which suit of Wands card(s) are most relevant to you around this time? Optional: Feel free to share why! My Wands Cards: - 6 of Wands - 7 of Wands All of Winter I've experienced many social situations that required my best patience and understanding. I made it a point to take the high ground, root myself on that…

Hello! Ive been watching tarot videos for a really long time and when I see them on tik tok they always feel so accurate. So I decided to try and learn tarot card meanings. I watched different videos on youtube about all 78 cards and it started clicking. So now, when I see a card I can somewhat understand the general meaning. But when I decided to ask a specific question I had no idea whats the meaning of the 10 of pentacles regarding love. Any tips about what to do next?

Hi, I struggle with coming up with the "correct verbiage" when it comes to asking/posing a question in Tarot readings? Any suggestions/input/advice is welcome and appreciated... Any examples of questions are welcome..like, comparing "muddled question" to rephrasing it kind of example Thank you in advance! 🙂 edit: I always think of Rodney (I think it was Rodney) who said "garbage in garbage out" to some of the questions posed (I believe it was my post and he was helping out); it always makes me smile and I try to keep what he said in mind, but still struggling..

With the advent of social media, this question becomes more and more frequent. What cards do you associate with someone who pays attention to publications, to the consultant's profile? look, I'm not talking about someone who is necessarily a stalker. Although stalking can be included in this spectrum, I also ask about those people who follow, accompanies someone silently, whether it is frequent or not. For example: when the consultant wants to know if that crush from the gym or work has already searched for him on social networks. In the RWS deck, I usually consider: - Judgment: When something is discovered, it becomes visible. - Sun: v…

I'd love to hear this, in case you'd like to share. ❤️🙏 That's often a question for me, what people get out of tarot in a very deep sense. I'm curious and I like to share my experience. I'm a rather open person and love the contact with people. I had a problem in the past to trust too quickly, which had to do with certain childhood experiences where I couldn't tell whether I could trust or not, as someone from my family did both good and bad. So I had to withdraw from people to shed some light on the problem. And so tarot came in my life. The friends I needed, the person who has good advice ... all that and much more was …

Do you typically look at the card at the bottom of the deck while reading? I tend to look at this card like an overall theme or something working in the background when completing a reading but would love to get your thoughts 🙂

I was going to do some readings eventually in the future pertaining to my relationships with people. I think it would be really cool to include each individual's Tarot birth card to help understand their actions and personalities and going forward or even letting go of theses relationships. What are some good ways to include the tarot birth card in spreads? I would like to know peoples thoughts on this idea too because I am very new to tarot! thank you!

Noobie here, apologies as needed. I'm sure there are already threads about this, but when I searched I either got nothing or a bazillion not-really-related hits. My question: How weird am I for following some not-scientifically-proven rituals to help feel bonded to my deck? Half my brain says it's 78 pieces of cardboard (which can help you tap into creative thinking techniques that show you new things). The other half of my brain says, "But what about what happened that time, with your cards? And that time? And that time? You can still believe it's just cardboard? You don't think synchronicity is real? C'mon." But either way, I do think…

Hi all, This topic keeps coming up and it just astounds me that it happens because I have a difficult time understanding the concept. Personally, all cards can be positive or negative depending on the reading. I am honestly trying to understand why it is done. So here are my questions about this. Do you remove cards that you consider negative from your deck? If you do why do you do it?

What's a card that keeps on popping out on you begging you desperately to listen? 😅 For me it's 4 and 9 of swords being like bi*h please sleep more go to sleep stop staying up late kind of advice do i listen thought? No 🤡 if my deck would have hands would probably throw them on me for that 💀 but that's a discussion for another topic 😅

I have been reading tarot on and off so feel free to correct me 🙂 So I find that The Moon, regardless of the context, all meanings can apply: being delusional about something, but also being so in touch with your intuition others might see it as madness. It also means “not all is known… for now” but I rarely get it in readings about uncovering the truth. I get it mostly in readings about manifestations which for me establishes it’s meaning of “from dream to reality, guided by strong intuition”. Thoughts? Experiences?

Well, guys, this friend of mine is involved with a married man. When asking about his legitimate relationship, I always get some of the pentacles card and that he sees his wife as the devil or the four of pentacles reversed, as if he chose her more because of her good financial state. When I ask about how he feels about my friend, I usually get 6 of cups or the page of cups or 3 of cups or other "sentimental" cards and that he sees her as the lovers or the sun. What do you think?

Hello friends, how are you? 🙃 Please, which arcana do you think may be related to jealousy? As I connect jealousy to possessiveness, control and desire of exclusivity... I tend to relate it to the Devil. These two combinations already appeared (outside the romantic context) and brought me a great feeling: Devil + Knight of Cups (when you are carried away by your own negative emotions); Devil + 3 Cups (when there are too many people...). It's curious because I've never connected jealousy with the Tower, but I think this could also be a possibility because of the impulsive and explosive tendency of this emotion... Do you have any different experiences to s…

The other day, I mistook my own fears as intuition. I decided on a situation after seeing the cards, as they stated some kind of fear. Reading on I realised that the rest of the cards talked about a different scenario. In the past I’ve had quite a few experiences where my intuition led me to do some unexplainable things, because it felt important, and they always have been. But after this experience I’m starting to wonder if I can’t separate my intuition from my feelings. Anyways have anyone else had this problem, and how did you learn to distinguish them?

Before reading the meanings I wrote my own for each card, which is usually very different. I’m aware this disregards the creators input, but the results make more sense. When I ask what the weather will be the following day, and the card drawn supposedly means “Enemy, danger, hostility” but then it is perfectly sunny and calm, that takes my faith in them away. But if my interpretation of the card is “Relaxed, dogs playing, fish swimming” then it makes sense. Same for any questions about the near future. Obviously can’t tell for anything beyond that. Does anyone else find this?

What's the word for that feeling -- like the intimatation of a panic attack coming on -- you get when you're thumbing through your deck, looking for a card, and keep not finding it, and are starting to freak out: "Did I lose it? Is my deck incomplete? Where is it?!" We need a word for that. (Surely this isn’t just me. Go ahead and call me Shirly if it helps.)

I just read this in a novel that's all about Tarot... It happens to be written by an academic who really knows her stuff, and I believe also reads, One character is suggesting that women find tarot more natural and are "better at it" (NOT getting into that bit just now) but this was interesting "Women can see new patterns better than men. Think, for example, of textiles. For centuries, women have been weavers. And those women have been able to see patterns and make inferences that create beautiful things. All we’re doing is weaving together a life. Trying to see where the different threads take us." Discuss. It actually feels like it makes sense - …

So last year in autumn I ordered the Horror Tarot by Insight Editions because this women loves herself horror based anything including decks. The cards came perfect. Call me nit picky even whiny but my decks booklet is unusable. They reprinted the same page through the whole book which makes me very sad, while i don't rely on deck booklets sometimes they have given me new perspectives on card meanings that never occurred to me. Does anyone by chance have a pdf of the booklet or even page pictures? Thank you so much in advance.

I *just* saw on another internet place that someone had asked ChatGPT to give a tarot reading... and what it came back with was surprisingly interesting. I gave it a whirl too! If you haven't heard of ChatGPT, click here to check it out! Basically, it is an AI. What did it say to you if you asked for a reading? Is this "a tarot reading"? Is it any less valid because it is not interpreted by ourselves? What do you think this implies about intuition & fate? How could this interpretation method be useful to us in our personalized intuitive practice?

We've all heard of reading the future, but has anyone delved into reading about the past? Not exactly reading about past lives, more like readings about events that happened a decade ago, or a hundred years ago. I would be interested if anyone can link me to any articles or texts about the topic. It doesn't seem like a lot of people have an interest in the past, other than their own past lives. And I'm not interested in finding anything specific in the past myself, just curious about the topic.

I’m new to tarot and was wondering when I do readings either for myself or other people should I start involving reversed cards? Or would it be better to learn the meanings upright first?
