While contemplating The Fool for the 78 Weeks study, I've been trying to think of moments that are kind of a Fool moment ... how The Fool fits in with life, songs, and so on. This moment from the show "Third Rock from the Sun" popped into my head;

So, just as a general study (transferring notes into a new notebook), I was looking at The Devil and it's interpretations. One of the books that I particularly like is "Tarot Reversals" by Mary K. Greer. In her article on The Devil - reversed, she writes; The reason I bring this up is because I can't help thinking (and have it in my notes) for similar meanings for the upright card. Hi all - am very new to this forum so let me know if this is the wrong place to post this question My question was "what was a reason why (person 1) and I did not work out?" and the card I pulled was the Sun Could anyone share their insight on this? The only thing I could think of was that maybe there was too much too soon? But I'd love other opinions

Doesn't it mean more work for you to work out whether the card is positive or negative or to figure out a narrative? Or do you just accept that the card's meaning is probably a combination of both negative and positive aspects? I'm new to tarot and I presently don't read reversals but that's more because I have a semi-heart attack whenever I see them (like when I see 'the tower' upright). Now i'm wondering whether it'd make my life a tad more easier to do so.

I am searching for a book what tells me more about the Kabbalah related to the Tarot. I have seen that Rachel Pollack has written a book about it called: The Kabbalah Tree: A Journey of Balance & Growth. I was wondering if you would recommend me this book, or that there are other books, that are better on the Kabblah subject related to the Tarot. Thanks.

If you have a new deck of cards (1 week old, about 5 readings in total, shuffled each time) and you've shuffled them a bit before the reading and pulled up a row (4 or 5) of the same suit, would you reshuffle? Would you discount the reading? I recently drew ridiculously favourable cards (a row of cups) for a situation that IRL looks dire. Should I re-do the spread?

Do you have any favorite podcasts or youtubers? I've only really watched Kelly-Ann Maddox, and love her channel dearly, but would love some suggestions. Anything really educational/thought provoking with some meaty content. :D

I want to expand my Astrology knowledge in the Tarot. I have already read the book from Corrine Kenner - Tarot and Astrology. Enhance Your Readings with the Wisdom of the Zodiac. But still I am struggling with the Astrology side. I was thinking about buying a new book about it. I am looking for the book from Muriel Bruce Hasbrouck -Tarot and Astrology. The Pursuit of Destiny. My questions are: Is this book from Muriel Bruce Hasbrouck good? Or do you have other recommendations for me, there must be more books about the topic Tarot and Astrology? Thanks.

Hello everybody! :) I was wondering if anybody had any suggestions for a book on the more spiritual meanings of the tarot cards? (preferably from a witchy/pagan standpoint). I have meanings for so many other facets of life but no so for more spiritual questions. It doesn't have to be a book either, it can be a blog or any other type of resource. Hi Do any of you know Susannah Conway's online classes about tarot and oracle cards - "78 mirrors" of "Daily Guidance"? They look really exiting - but they're quite expensive... I mean - you could buy A LOT of new decks for the price of the classes - but if they're worth the money I would love to take one (or both) of them...

I'm sure many have already noticed that the posts on the now closed Aeclectic Forums have no time/date stamps. Makes it very confusing to get an idea how new or old any of the posts are. I can't imagine why these would've been removed. ::) Any ideas?

Hi, everyone. If you do clear or cleanse the energy of your tarot decks, how do you do that? Usually, if I find my daily readings are no longer accurate. I wonder put my deck back in its original order. Fool, Magician, the High Priestess, the Empress, the Emperor etc... Then I would burn an incense and let the deck absorb the energy. How about yourself? ;)

Hi guys :) The last couple of days I have been using the RWS-deck - and I have been getting Nine of Pentacles sooo many times. For me that cards means that I'm moving towards a goal. I'm not there yet - but I'm moving slow. Yesterday I used Tarot of the Cat People - and got Nine of Pentacles again! But in that card it feels like I'm at my goal - I have reached it. 1) So your shuffling your deck and your going to do a 3 card smaller reading... Out falls a card as your shuffling, so where you going to use it in your lay out? Ive never used the one that falls out, due to not sure where id put it? To clarify? or as a beginning first card? What would you do? 2)Where would you put it in a larger reading?

Hi everyone. :) I am just wondering, how do you keep your cards, store them safely? Usually, I keep the decks in a wooden box individually. I purchase the boxes from an art market vendor. The boxes are plain with a small mechanical lock. Then I carve the name of the deck on the box (so I know which deck is being stored and I don't have to open each box to get the deck that I search for). How about you?
