Hey guys! I'm most positive that there's a spread out there very similar to this one, but I created a spread that seems to work very well for me on forecasting the week ahead in a bit more detail with less cards! A quick rundown in text as well! 1. Overall Theme - This is what the overall theme of the week will be! 2. What to Do - This is what you should do over the course of that week, whether it be a physical activity, or mental prep, what have you! 3. Insight/Advice - This will act as a clarification for card #2, giving you some insight as to why you must do this, what to look out for, or advice on how to do it! 4. What NOT to Do - This is what you should…

I occasionally delve into business readings. Here is a new spread for that purpose that is intended to be used in the same way as electional astrology to explore the best time to start a venture. https://parsifalswheeldivination.com/2019/07/15/the-tale-of-two-arcs-business-dynamic-spread/

The discussion here about the Random Number Generators used in tarot software apps got me thinking how this might be done in an analog way using a board-game spinner. Here's the result. You can make your own spinner or buy one on-line. And if you're ever in Brattleboro, Vt, stop by Patty Newton's Silver Moon Adornments and see her big tarot-card roulette wheel. It's quite impressive. https://parsifalswheeldivination.com/2019/07/12/the-round-it-goes-decision-making-spread/

Hello, I’m a newbie here and a newbie all around with tarot. I’ve been studying the traditional meanings of the cards for a while and picked up my first deck today. As I’ve been getting acquainted with it, I decided to try an interview spread. The results have me completely confused, as I am still learning to apply the card meanings to specific questions. Any and all help is totally appreciated! Tell me about yourself, what are your most important characteristics? 4 of wands What are your strengths? The Emperor What are your limits? 2 of swords What are you here to teach me? 9 of cups How can I best learn and collaborate with you? The devi…

I've been studying with my RWS deck and haven't had much time for doing anything else until today. This morning, I had the strong urge to use my new Everyday Witch Tarot and after my daily draw I decided to do The Deck Interview Spread As a newbie, it's one of the longest I've done, but first time for everything! I thought I'd post my interview in case anyone wants to give it a try. @Nordica De Spell I'm lookin at you! Here's my spread, starting at the top and reading clockwise. ETA: This may be in the wrong area! Mods, help!

Here is another simple (at least for me) decision-making spread that uses one of my favorite spread-design techniques: "facing" of a central focus card to help target the best course of action. Because I try to post something new every day in my blog, falling back on spread creation is an easy way out so I don't repeat myself (at least not too much). https://parsifalswheeldivination.com/2019/06/29/the-speed-bump-and-pothole-decision-making-spread/

Many of you know that I like to create intricate spreads with lots of detail that ideally still hang together in a logical way. Here is a problem-solving spread (at its heart a two-option scenario) that uses elemental temperaments in a novel way to point out the most advantageous solution. It consists of two three-card chains, a "quint" card for each chain, and four "background" cards that influence and modify the quint cards through Elemental Dignity. https://parsifalswheeldivination.com/2019/06/26/the-hot-and-cold-running-commentary-problem-solving-spread/

I set myself a challenge: create a small-ish spread (I'm not a fan of anything less than five cards) that takes advantage of Elemental Dignities and the quintessence to provide additional detail. I've found that it reads well. Here are a couple of links. https://parsifalswheeldivination.com/2019/06/19/an-elemental-dignity-short-form-decision-making-spread/ https://parsifalswheeldivination.com/2019/06/19/an-elemental-dignity-short-form-example-reading/

PS! This is for entertainment only. There are no facts in tarot. In some cultures the word entertainment can be understood as "under attitude". Hi all 🙂 Inspired by a conversation with @Raggydoll I came up with this spread for further enlightenment . The reason I put some sample cards behind it - that I have pulled myself - is that since we regards ourselves as family, I share some of my findings with you. The reason that I don't interpret them, is that we all have different view on tarot and the facts that I present a style with make-up on - I don't want to feel all naked - when I allow you to copy my style, so to speak. He…

I actually have three questions about spreads I would like to pose for the forum over the next three days, so stay tuned. There are those in life who walk among us, I or you may meet who "think they know it all" or are visibly unconscious souls. Obviously thinking their way is the only way, never open to learning something new, when they encounter something they don't know, instead of taking the time to ask a question, do some research, they make up their own mind to stay ignorant. Or here's the great one, they assume something about you, it's all wrong, you correct them, and they get angry with you. I love that one. Their mind is closed and not ever open to t…

A close relative is married to someone with a truly bad case of NPD, probably with sociopathy involved. Recently, a hard limit was reached, and I need to find a solution on how to keep the venom that that person exudes AWAY from me and my family, AND remain in contact with the close relative. (Preferably, I’d just meet up with the relative, and go total no contact with the NPD partner — but as it tends to be with families and people involved, this problem is a lot more complex than that!) So, I’m looking for a solution-oriented spread that can deal with ”a situation filled with complicated obstacles,” and find a way over under through…

I'm curious what everyone's go to spread is: whether you read Oracle, Kipper, Tarot, etc. Do you prefer long spread or short to the point spreads? Or do you use a spread or do you keep pulling cards until you get a feeling to stop? Comment and let us know! 🙂

If you are searching for a spread, there are many great resources online to find some great ones and I thought I would make a list of resources to find them 🙂 If you find a great spread that you enjoyed using, why not share it here? Start a thread for it in this area with the spread name in the title. Also if you make your own, share it with us as well here. Make sure to add the name of the person who created the spread and a link back to their original posting in the thread here for it, so you are crediting them. I see in my LWB for a deck a spread with a tarot card for each house and three overall cards in the center. So 15 cards. I know the zodiac houses and basic characteristics of the signs, but am not strong is astrology beyond that. Is this beyond my capabilities for a good reading?

I am looking for a spread that will help me with the situation I am in right now. I will be moving out of my mom's house and into my grandparent's house, whom my mom does not like. I am doing this for financial reasons and health reasons. I would like a spread that will help me to determine the best way to tell my mom about it. Does anyone have any spreads that may help?

Curious topic! At least it is to me! I know that I dream sometimes and often it goes in phases (often with the lunar cycle, I know I've had a dream more often near a full moon). But I very rarely remember anything about them other than their overall vibe. E.g. I woke up at some point last night feeling 'shot through with adrenaline' and like I'd been scared. Around the full moon I woke up from a dream feeling warm, cosy and 'lighter than air'. But I don't remember anything that led up to that point. I'm looking for a tarot spread to help me understand these dreams when they come and help me try to interpret their messages, which is hard without remembering the dr…
