I thought it could be fun to do a Spreadapalooza thread. The idea is to start with a theme, topic, question etc, and everyone shares a spread, their favorite spread on that theme. Sound like fun? If this one's a hit we can do more :) So to start: what's your go-to spread for a daily reading?

Hi, guys! I made a spread for myself tonight and figured I would share it here. Anyone is free to use it / adapt as they wish! Dealing with and healing from trauma: 1 - What do I need to in order to heal from this pain? 2 What can help me in this healing process? 3. What can hurt me in this healing process? 4. What is my goal? 5. What is the outcome? And here's my spread reading, as the example: 1 - What do I need to in order to heal from this pain? The World: You need to as always, get out of your own head and see your place in the bigger picture; remember that you never know where these paths will take …

I am new here so I hope this is the right forum to post this in. On New Year's Eve I wanted to do a spread to map out the energies of the upcoming year. Could anyone suggest their favorite new year spreads? I would love to see all of the different ones you all know and come up with!

βœ¨πŸŒ‘βœ¨ Since Sunday night/Saturday night is the New Moon and we are starting a new month, I thought that we could play with a spread that rides those energies. New Moon energy can affect us in two ways. Because the Moon governs our emotional body, our feelings and needs are surfacing. Think of the Rider-Waite-Smith XVIII image of the β€˜Moon’ with the lobster creature climbing up out of the water. The Sagittarius archetype supports cultivating a relationship with the Divine. How can we trust that things will work out and that there is always a higher purpose to all that occurs in our lives? (Position 1) Sagittarius energy is fast moving …

Every time we pass through an event like this I bump up a little too late in finding a spread and then I end up scrambling. I'm still doing a reading but I was wondering, for next time, if anyone has any favourite solar eclipse spreads they've found or made that they'd like to share? The big, chaotic, intense energy has been hitting me all week so I'd love to make some sense of it for next time with the cards

Darkness / Dismemberment / Brokenness. What have you lost? What are you grieving? What is broken within you? (If you get a positive card in this position, you might want to read its shadow side or reversed meaning.) Promise / Rebirth of the Sun / Renewal. What is the promise of renewal that will come with the dawn of Winter Solstice? (Likewise, if you get a negative or reversed card in this position, you might want to read its more positive meaning.) Integration of Dark and Light. How do the darkness and the dawn intertwine? What wisdom do they create together? Gift of the Darkness / Remember. What is the gift of the broken time, hidden in…

This is a spread that I designed for reflecting on the year that is soon about to end. Maybe someone else will find it useful. It is quite a large spread but I wanted something that would sum up this last year nicely. You lay out 13 cards: the first 12 cards are laid in a circle (like a clock) and the last card sits in the middle of the circle. I intended for it to be like the completion of a cycle, with something new that emerges like a small light in the middle of the unknown. 1. Who was I when this year started? 2. What did I strive to achieve this year? 3. What did I accomplish? 4. What got in my way? 5. What lessons did this year have in store for me? 6…

Here is another spread that uses dice and cards in collaboration. I'm not entirely sure its flexible enough for all situations, but I like the methodology. I will be doing some practice readings with it and may tweak it https://parsifalswheeldivination.com/2019/08/17/roll-them-bones-situational-awareness-spread/

This spread can be adapted for looking at either our relationship as a parent or mentor: Mother - Father Spread 1~2~3 1. What I have inherited from my ancestral line? 2. What I am to learn from being a mother/father? 3. The legacy I will leave my child/children as a mother/father. Mentor Spread 1. The nurturing (or not-so- nurturing) patterns I have inherited from my ancestral line. 2. What I am to learn from my present relationships - as a nurturing mentor or compassionate caretaker. 3. The legacy I am creating with my relationships.

A while back, a friend of mine asked if I could do a reading for where the World was headed in the next 5 to 10 years. It challenged me. I didn't find an existing spread that really answered the questions, so I decided to create one. While the question asked was a VERY big picture (about the whole world), I thought the spread would work for things on a more local / personal level as well. (For the reading I did, this spread worked great.) I started laying cards (face-down) to determine a design, and as I pushed them around, I found that a 7-card spiral, like a Nautilus shell felt right; ............3 .......2........4 ...........1 ................5 ......7.....6…

A close relative is married to someone with a truly bad case of NPD, probably with sociopathy involved. Recently, a hard limit was reached, and I need to find a solution on how to keep the venom that that person exudes AWAY from me and my family, AND remain in contact with the close relative. (Preferably, I’d just meet up with the relative, and go total no contact with the NPD partner β€” but as it tends to be with families and people involved, this problem is a lot more complex than that!) So, I’m looking for a solution-oriented spread that can deal with ”a situation filled with complicated obstacles,” and find a way over under through…

In my view, tarot is not about 'predicting' something in the full sense of the word as much as disclosing future tendencies. But the question is... how far in the future? Let us exclude certain spreads, which, f.e, are specified for 3 or for 6 months. My question is mainly concerned with spreads based on the Celtic Cross or the three cards (past, present, future).

In many cultures, the days of the week are associated with the seven "classic" planets (planets that are visible with the naked eye, without the sophisticated technology developed over the last centuries). English, French and German names for the weekdays reflect the planetary "patrons". Saturday: Saturn, obvious! Sunday: Sun, obvious as well! Monday: another obvious one, the Moon of course Tuesday: named after Tyr, the Germanic/Nordic equivalent to Mars - French mardi Wednesday: another Germanic god, Woden, equivalent to Mercury - French mercredi Thursday: Germanic/Nordic god Donar, equivalent to Jupiter (both gods of thunder) - Ge…

I am doing this for financial reasons and health reasons. I would like a spread that will help me to determine the best way to tell my mom about it. Does anyone have any spreads that may help?
